Here is something I use as a last resort. I get some heavy duty dishwasher powder and make a strong solution by dissolving it in some hot water in the bath. Then I leave it to soak. I am very careful to keep pets, kids etc away as it is alkaline and can be harmful. I leave the window/vent open, and close the door (with me on the outside!) while the solution goes cold. I am very careful with this stuff. It can burn eyes, damage skin, and many kids every year get burned out throats, stomachs etc from swallowing the stuff. (I store it in a cupboard at least 5 feet off the floor! ) (I have also soaked oven trays in the bath-tub this way.) Using rubber gloves I let the stuff go down the drain and give a good scrub. I NEVER mix anything else with dishwasher powder as I am not a chemist and wouldn't know if I was accidentally making toxic slime or something. I rinse at least three times, (cos thats what the dishwasher does.)

My bathtub looked similiar. What I found to work best is Scrubbing Bubbles in an aeresol can. Works like a charm without tons of elbow grease! Congrats on your bathroom!
