There are a few BBCode commands that are supported, but have no button on the formatting line. Can I hide something? Yes I can! This is a regular paragraph. This paragraph uses a blockquote command.

The easy answer on my part is to quote my post, then look at the BBCode editor for the formatting! But I'll be nice. Use the BBCode editor to add the brackets. [] goes at the beginning of the text you want to affect. [/] goes in at the end of the text you want to affect. Use the word indicated below between the brackets to get the affect. (The word goes AFTER the slash in the closing bracket.) Command word
| Affect | move | Moves text within the brackets from right to left. | spoiler | Will hide text within the brackets once posted with "SPOILER: Click to show/hide."
| blockquote | Will indent the text within the brackets from both margins.

Hit the 'Quote' button, but before hitting reply, click on the BBCode tab at the bottom of the composition area. If you don't want to reply, you can always use the back button to back out of the reply screen.

If you want to see testing run amok, try my Test Tube thread! (I used to post that every time ProBoards "pushed" updates to their test Support board during early beta testing. It was a great tool to see quickly what was broken.) Got lots of admins checking to see how I did things using the quote button. The one that made their eyes cross was this one: Don't smash letters together!
Ever! Okay? (It's hard to read!)
It is strictly text, no images.

Testing blockquote here. Yay, that part worked, but is there a shortcut rather than typing the whole blockquote thing out?
Hmm, how does the blockquote undo (tab release) on this line to get this line back to the margin?

A shortcut would be to use the quote button to insert the quote brackets, then go into BBCode editor (if you aren't already there) and add "block" directly in front of "quote".
Tab release won't affect the text. You must use the BBCode editor to start typing after the /blockquote command.

I guess I need a lead-in here, don't I? In what movie was Morgan Freeman a chauffeur?
Driving Miss Daisy
