I need to do EVERYTHING, besides the normal gross squalor stuff. Dishes, Laundry, changing bug strips, vacuuming, cleaning up 3rd degree squalor, yard work, and probably more stuff I don't want to think about. My major accomplishment for Saturday was taking my car in for an oil change (it had been 6,000 miles since the last one), and I got a leaky gasket fixed and my tires rotated. That was 3.5 hours of waiting in the customer lounge doing Sudoku puzzles, but I struck up some interesting conversations with some other ladies who were waiting on their cars. I'll be up tonight, then after I get some sleep, I'll be doing yardwork tomorrow and whatever else I can fit in. Join me! Post your accomplishments in this thread! Little_Ninja

Update 1: 1) cancelled reservations to one hotel 2) made reservations for shuttle ride to airport 3) picked up 3rd degree squalor from floor 4) stripped bed of sheets, removed table cloth from piece of furniture from parent's estate; started load of sheets & table cloth in wash 5) started organizing linen closet; found some 3 oz. traveling containers for trip back to it . . . Update 2:1) took a Sudoku & chicken curry break; too tired to finish puzzle 2) put sheets & table cloth in dryer 3) made bed with 2nd set of clean sheets off to catch some Zzzzz's... I'll be baaaaaack... Little_Ninja

I had a very bad night: terrible dream that some "monster" was chewing on my hand. Probably just the regular hand-fibro pains. I couldn't go back to sleep. Eventually DH got up to watch Formula 1 (2:30 am). I stayed awake. To distract myself from fear and pain, I tidied up the closet in the bathroom. Tossed various unwanted toiletries. Some to recycling; some to trash; some (unopened toothbrushes) to give-away bag. When DH came back upstairs, I went back to bed and back to sleep until 8:45 am, about the latest I am capable of sleeping, period amen. I am really tired now but really glad I did this marathon-deep-cleaning (actually just tidying, as I didn't wash or vacuum anything.) I have problems over-buying during sales, starting a new product, not finishing an old one, not tossing horrible things immediately, bringing stuff home from trips (hotel souvenirs). This 'need for abundance' is one of my ongoing issues, in self-care and in home came. good luck to all

Sunday update 1:1) Slept late; till about 1:30 p.m. 2) Took meds; organized meds for travel kit. 3) Rinsed dishes; loaded dishwasher. 4) Turned on dishwasher. 5) Started load of laundry. Update 2:1) Mowed back yard, alley, and front yard 2) edged front yard 3) swept up grass clippings & bagged 4) hung up clothes to line dry back to it . . . Little_Ninja
