My nails look great, my skin looks great, my bed is made... but I bombed out with another late night. Didn't sit down to dinner until 10:30 pm. I fear tonight will be a late one, too, as I will be volunteering for a concert. But I will try very hard to get into bed waaay earlier than last night's 4am (eek!)

It was another late dinner, late night, and late getting up today. I decided to skip lunch (+ lunchtime meds) today in hopes of getting back on track to an earlier night tonight and henceforth... hope that doesn't prove to be a mistake.

papermoon and LouieGreat work getting bed made Louie At the home of Roadrunner we ate very late and it is very sporadic. It has had to break the habit papermoon, I think I will make that my next habit to change/recreate once I hit 21 days with the habits I am working on now. It has been very very busy here but I have made sure that I have kept up with my Add a Habit as I do not want to start over and I am ready to get to 21 days to add another habit. Doing what I have to do to reach the goal. Update for 28, 29, 30 Shiny Kitchen 21/21 -- YAY 21 days -- This is an easy habit the last 3 days, we have not been home so a quick tidy every night was all that was needed. Self-care 21/21 -- YAY 21 days -- 2 nights I had to make myself get out of bed and do this. Why is it we want to try and put off or not do something that is good for our physically bodies. Mail 19/21 -- I handle mail when I walk in the door -- it is automatic now. Shiny Desk 9/21

RoadRunner, your 21-day successes are fantabulous! I am so impressed. I had another late night, darn it (late dinner and late to bed), but both were way earlier than the previous two nights. End of another week. I finally got my hours back on track last night.
7/7 make the bed 4/7 dinner between 8-9pm 7/7 nightly skin care 7/7 nightly nail care 4/7 midnight to bed
I'll reset my odometers and start over for a new week. Lately when I've stayed up past midnight, the urge to snack hits me. So I'm going to add another habit challenge: to brush and floss and gargle right after dinner... and I hope that'll discourage the snacking urge. These late-night habits are beastly... so hard to break!

Good work getting your hours back on track papermoonThis week has really been a struggle but I have managed to keep my daily habits rolling. Update 1 & 2 Shiny Kitchen 2/21 -- Self-care 2/21 Mail 21/21 -- At day 21 woot woot Shiny Desk 11/21 I wanted to set a new daily habit of eating supper earlier and as a family, the earlier part is possible on some days for me but together as a family it is just not possible with DH Farming until dark and DS and DDs different activities. So for now it will have to be a grab an go. However one thing that is somewhat consistent is DS, DD and I coming home together after school and work, so I think I will try a afternoon snack time together. We did do afternoon snack time on Thursday but not on Friday. I will add that a my next add a challenge on Monday and then try to have a family meal on the weekends (not this one -- too busy for everyone) Keep up the good work!!!!!!

I'll have to concede the fact that the nights when I volunteer will always run rather late, that's just the way it is. But I trust that this stack of good habits will get me back on track for the following nights.

I claim amnesty for another late night, as I was deeply absorbed in an amazing movie, "In Darkness." Still pondering the true story and feeling strongly affected by it all today.
