I got booted and haven't been able to get back into chat, no matt what I try. Just reporting. I'm sure somebody is working on it.

I can't get in, either, after getting booted earlier, and when I look at "Number of Chatters Online," there is no number, not even a "None," so I'm guessing everyone got booted.
Thanks for your help.

Me too!! I have been trying unsuccessfully to get into chat.
Initally it would shut down I.E. ("Internet Explorer has stopped working...")
I updated my version of Java.
I downloaded Google chrome.
Started a virus scan although now I see it is not just my computer....
=======
After Java update, on Chrome or I.E. I still can't get on.
Like Seashell, I see a blank at the "Chatters Online" prompt on the main page. Usually even if there are no chatters you will see a "0" or "none".
In I.E. clicking on the chat button no longer shuts down I.E. but I see a blank gray screen where the chat screen should be and below that the Welcome message.
In Chrome clicking on the chat button - I see only the welcome message.
======
I know there is a backup chat site, but I have a new computer and no longer have it in my "Favorites". Anyone know it?

Interesting. I'm not even seeing the box where the chat room is supposed to be. I'll flag Greg. Oddly enough, our ProBoards shoutbox won't show up either, and that is a different program. Both Chrome and Firefox have had recent updates. I don't know if it is related to our problems or not. PS. I just added the Parachat link button to our menu so it will be easier to access.

If you time out or get booted from the parachat, don't try hitting a back button, -- it might send you to another chat. Safest way: go to the SOS homepage and click on the "parachat" link that Celeste just added to menu at top of page

Your chat is hosted on client11 (server11). We had a technical issue affecting Chat customers connecting to client11.addonchat.com. No other services or servers were affected by this problem. Service has been restored to client11. There may have been temporary cache glitches during the server transition. Users experiencing problems are advised to empty their browser's cache and reload the chat room web page. Thank you for your patience. The original cause of this event is still unknown. Most likely a hardware issue unrelated to its drives. We've migrated all connecting users to different (current generation) hardware and don't expect the problem to reoccur.

We're having residual problems to random users of Client11 from yesterdays migration. It may take most of the night to resolve this issue. At the time of this post there was no problem logging into the chat here but I can't say that will continue. If your chat service is disrupted we apologize for the inconvenience and hope to remedy the problem ASAP. Thanks, ~Greg
