Everything is in such a state that I don't know where to begin. I feel like I can only deal with one trauma at a time. I can't even manage 27 things today, so I think I'm going to make it 19 and see if it makes a difference.
PUPA 19 things in master bedroom

changing it up a bit...I have a low boredom threshold. Also, if I count and keep counting, other thoughts get excluded from my brain and that's a good thing PUPA 100 things. H/T to whoever from the boards said they were going to do that

Gave myself amnesty for throwing out a tape dispenser that didn't work right.
I can give myself amnesty, too, for getting stuck in anything, and think/do something nicer and healthier.

yay NewLifeToday on both of those amnesties! Great work!
i'm in that overwhelm state, pugglemum - i can relate! good job on moving forward anyway! i can't count up to 20 without getting distracted... i would never make it to 100 unless i counted in 10's
i did the dishes - finally. cleaned the side of the stovetop i can use. could not get the burned-on crap off but oh well, looks better. made an appointment i was putting off.
i did those 3 things one thing at a time.
next up: force myself to take a shower.

Washed some dishes. Was able to use skillet to cook eggs and have breakfast.

Made yogurt which is now incubating. Washed some dishes. Called a neighbor back home to ask for some help.

Went into the kitchen to get some food, and washed a few dishes before leaving the kitchen.

So I did PUPA 100 things. Then I made a spreadsheet thingy and did 400 things more. Then I thought well, if I can do 400, then I can 1200. I expanded the spreadsheet and printed it out. I fetched a highlighter and then started with one thing about 5pm on Sunday 28th June. Some time TODAY I will mark off 1200 things! It builds a momentum of its own, I swear!

pugglemum Congrats on the super PUPA. You are amazing and inspiring! I thought about this PUPA and Do One Thing. Even though my back hurt while drying dishes, I put away one more cup, and one more. Am using the BDG method more, and will use PUPA more. Doing chores and exercises while the kettle is on, or something is cooking has been a habit of mine for decades. I am glad to be able to add to that with BDG and PUPA one more thing.

Washed dishes at a point in my morning routine, that was unusual. Put something new, and healthier into the routine.

I committed a neatness in the kitchen while the porridge was cooking this morning. It was super quick and I was stunned at the result. This one thing at a time business (1200 over the week) really works!

Adding more tiny cleaning bits in the day. Doing more food prep and eating better nutrients. Got a few more things out of the car and in a better place.
