I updated Java, but chat's not working for me. It's just showing a blank white box. Anyone know if something's up?

I'm having the same problem, more or less. If I go to the page, Java keeps crashing, and once actually crashed my browser. I've tried restarting Firefox and restarting the computer, but with no luck!

I just got in, no trouble, using Chrome as a browser. Java (build 1.7.0_67-b01)

We've recognized the problem and have implemented measures where we are notified quicker so we can take corrective measures in a much more timely manner. We apologize for any inconvenience. One more note about java updates. A new update has just been released (Java 8 Update 25). We always recommend that your java is kept up to date as well as your computer's operating system and browser updates. If you're having trouble updating your java it might be better to remove older java from your system first. In my case over the last hour, I had to make sure I downloaded 20 Windows 7 system updates before I could install the newer java on this system. On another machine I was able to update java before the same 20 system updates. Each case for updates may vary from one user to another. Finally, we at AddonChat (your chat software provider) still are making it a high priority to rewrite our program to have no dependency on third party addons like java. This would make life so much easier for our users and our company. Enjoy and have a great day.  |
