TODOs: 1. Quick sort of stuff from the car into a) groceries -- put away b) gardening stuff -- make sure herbs get some water and are put outside; rest can wait c) trip stuff -- to bedroom to unpack 2. Take out trash 3. Return another phone call.
Hope you all have good days --

Artsygal!!! That's great that your house is soo much better now. 4 dogs, wow! How do you walk all of them?!
WestSideStory--I love that you are dealing with the day's mail everyday. I've noticed that you seem to have gotten a handle on it now. I continue to struggle with that. Part of my problem is not knowing what to do with it all... I'll get there someday.
Tadas: 1)brushed teeth & hair 2)moved load of laundry into dryer & hung the hang-dry things. 3)put another load in the washer *bonus*took DH's clothes to cleaners.
Todos: 1)cook dinner 2)fold/hang load of laundry 3)move load into dryer

Thank you Westsidestory and Cando. Unfortunately, both kids are still sick. It is starting to sound like my 10yo DD has Bronchitis. And my DS's fever is back. I have them both a appointment at the pediatrician tomorrow. Well, Let's See! Ta-Da's - Gathered a little more trash-took trash and recyclables to the trash dump - Did a small load of laundry - Did a 15 minute timer in the living room To-Do's - Lots , but I am getting a little sluggish

Hi, Hopefulnic, I do hope the kids get to be feeling better soon!! Congrats on your TaDas. I know it's hard to not get overwhelmed, but try to focus on just three things to do instead of thinking about all of it. Here's my TaDa list so far. This is as far as I could get because I only got home from work a couple of hours ago. TaDa: 1. Grocery store for a few staples (cereal, fruit, TV dinners) 2. Took dog for walk with DH 3. Unloaded the dishwasher/put clean dishes away 1. Loaded dishwasher with the pile of dirty dishes in the sink 2. Hand washed whatever wouldn't fit in the dishwasher 3. Sent off very important email 1. Hung up a large pile of clean laundry 2. Wiped down kitchen counters 3. Dinner (cereal!) ToDo: 1. Put away another pile of clean laundry (where are all of these piles COMING FROM?! ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!) 2. Wash my dinner dishes (that is to say, the cereal bowl) 3. I know that is NOT another pile of dirty clothes on the floor behind me.

I honestly can't believe this is happening, after taking all dogs to the vet running pet errands and meeting up with the woman who's cat sitting. I felt like I was @ 2 hrs away from doing all the major stuff and would be dabbling with small details before my flight tomorrow. Then I get a phone call that my friend, Jen( I've been best friends with her since age 4) who found this site for me and was the first one in my house 2 weeks ago and helped me bag garbage for 6 hrs straight, is in the ICU with a perforated liver after being thrown from her horse. I'm in shock and honestly don't care about my house at this point, I'm running to the hospital now, I may have to postpone this trip a few days my mom won't be out of the hospital until fri or sat. I probably should have posted this on byways but my head is not on straight at all. todos, drink water, call therapist, go to hospital artsy

Hi hopefulnic -- WTG on the timed 15 minutes in the living room! Hope the pediatrician can help your DD and DS tomorrow.
CanDo, good job on keeping Mount Wash-and-dryclean-More under control!
TADAs: 1. Sorted stuff from car and followed through as posted above. 2. One item I bought was broken, so I went to store and returned it -- replacing it with something else which looks a little more sturdy. Refused bags at check-out (less clutter to deal with, and less plastic to worry about ending up in landfills or the ocean...) 3. Returned phone calls.
TODOs: 1. Dinner 2. Time in study (dealing with the day's mail helps, CanDo, but the study, unfortunately, still contains some of stray papers and papers to be filed. A lot less than when I started out -- YEAH -- but enough so that I haven't declared it at maintenance yet.) 3. Put away stuff from trip which is in bedroom
Hope you all have good evenings/nights/mornings!

Well, I have done another set of 3 so here they are: 1)unloaded dishwasher 2)put away hand-washed stuff from drainboard 3)washed all dishes, pots, pans, skillets... Whew! there were a lot!!! As reward, will shred for 15 minutes...then, GO TO BED! ETA: Tadas: 1)fold/hang another load of laundry 2)put that load away 3)move load into dryer & hang the hang-dry things.CD

ArtsyGal --
I am so sorry about your friend. We were posting at about the same time earlier this evening, and I must have missed your post. Hope she's doing well and that she'll be out of the ICU in no time. Sure your Mom understands. Goodness, this must be so hard for you.
CanDo, you've had a incredibly productive day. All that laundry, all those dishes, and getting your DS to mow the lawn for the first time.
TADAs: 1. Dinner 2. Cleaned out refrigerator (random forgotten items which were languishing during my absence -- yuck!) and wiped down surfaces 3. Started recipe to use up stuff I bought a while ago.
TODOs: 1. Put away the stuff in my bedroom from the trip 2. Put pills in pill containers. 3. Brush teeth and go to bed.
'night --
