Went to the donkey and mule show today....so that was the whole day...nothing done except taking care of the animals. It rained again today but I think it is going to be clear for a couple of days, anyway. My house is a wreck, so tomorrow will mostly be getting caught up but I plan to spend at least one hour in the two clean out projects. One of them has some depression glass. I don't collect it any more, so plan to list it on a local Facebook "yard sale" page and also on Craig's List. Might as well try and make a little money while I am at it.

Congrats on everyone's efforts!! I have so much going on in my office that I've fallen behind on my unpacking goals - probably another week of "other stuff" and then I can make some progress ---- a gal can hope

I have some laundry soaking. Today I am going to straighten up the house, spend at least an hour on my project "clean out" storage, and I have to clean off the porch, as much as possible, considering the flooring stacked on it. We got a big donation of dog food, and husband stacked it on the porch, and raccoons have been tearing into it...made a big mess...so all of that has got to be moved and put away. If I have any time left over, I need to fold and put away all the laundry I took to the laundromat to dry, day before yesterday.
I have a friend who always calls me and tells me how bored she is. Oh, how I wish I could have the luxury of being bored!

I didn't get as much done as I would have liked. My husband came home early and we moved the round pen which has one of the donkeys in it, because due to all of the rain, it had become very muddy. Now it is higher ground, and grass. It is easy to move...just takes some time. Then I had to go to town to run an errand, that I had asked him to do on his way home, but he forgot, and had to go to another town to pick up a baby possum. (I rehab wildlife). So that ate into my daylight hours. Cleaned off the porch, but didn't get all the food moved. It is late but I may work on it some more tonight. If I don't, I will have more of a mess to clean up in the morning. Have friends coming from out of town...passing thru the area, so may go have dinner with them tomorrow night. Will try to get all my ducks in a row tomorrow, so I can get something accomplished in a timely manner! I looked up my depression glass on ebay to get an idea of about what I can list it for. Will list it for less than it sells on ebay, so I can get it sold.

I wasn't sleepy, and felt bad because I didn't get much accomplished today.........so I just went out and cleaned off the porch and restacked that pallet of dog food in my storage room. I still have to burn the empty boxes...from the boxes that the coons tore open and ate the food, and sweep, but everything is stacked neatly and put away. It's 3:15 a.m. and I am starting to "run down" but my husband gets up at 3:30 to go to work, so I will wait until he leaves before I go to bed. Oddly enough...I am very hungry, so I will wander into the kitchen and see what I can find. I know it is bad to sleep on a full stomach....but I really am hungry...so going to eat.

I'm joining late, but my goal is to clean up/out my sewing room so I can just walk in there, sit down and sew and not have to move everything around. I'm getting closer, but there are still several stacks in the floor and two stacks on the top of my lateral file cabinet and one stack in the office chair.
I've been dumping in the living room for the last month, so I also want to get everything put away and make it company ready.

I DID IT! I spent this morning in my attic, all rubish is picked up and in the garbage can, things are in order and the floor is swept. My mum and my niece helped. There are still two heaps left, it is a rubbish from repairing the roof that needs to be put in buckets and taken to the dump - I will ask my neighbour for help, I run out of buckets. What I wanted done, is done and it looks soooo much better. Now if I could loose some weight...

I spent a few minutes in the sewing room this morning and threw away an old digital TV converter box and remote. I need to spend at least 15 minutes a day in there.

Didn't get much done on my project areas the past couple of days. My husband was home yesterday....follow up doctor appointment...and he was working on a project of his own, outside. When he is working on something, he always wants me to help...so it makes it hard to stay hitched to things in the house. Then had to go to town to run some errands....but, the good news is, he is back at work today...I am home alone....blissfully, alone...and no excuses today. Will report back later.

I missed my Monday update this week...maybe because I did not want to admit I hadn't made much progress.
My three goals were: - establish an exercise program - handle 2 financial matters - main rooms of house clean enough to let people in.
My Week 2 progress...shows almost no progress... - For exercise, I attended only one of my exercise sessions because I had a chance for a marathon out of town shopping trip. Had fun. Was too tired to exercise. - I did nothing to met my financial goals-again. - On the house cleaning front, I did work in the Kitchen some and it is starting to show. I defended the stove and the part of the counter already cleared and worked on the table. The piles are getting lower, and I have removed the stacks that were on several of the chairs so you can sit down in the kitchen. I also mopped the bathroom floor which hadn't been done in a long time.
I am catching up on the laundry which gives me more room in the bedroom. One down side, the living room is worse...stuff is closing in from all sides. I will have to work on it this week...but this is a real busy week so I don't have high hopes of getting much done. I would like to finish in the kitchen...

Was not able to work on bed frame last week and still haven't gotten to it yet this week. I am thinking maybe Saturday I will get the pieces I have up I will try to assemble and then maybe try to get the other pieces up and put together. 1) get my room cleaned and organized especially all of the paperwork - I have been attempting to do at least 30 minutes of scanning everyday but am finding that may not be enough so I may up it to an hour a day instead. I have been doing at least an hour a day except for one day where I was out for so long that nothing got done at home. 2) Make at least 2 food items for me each week from scratch - Was able to make my bars and some more vegetable soup last week and am soaking my beans tonight and plan to make black bean soup and collard greens tomorrow. 3) Go thru the rest of my items in the attic - Haven't started yet 4) Go thru my items in storage - This will probably take me longer than the 2 months but I can at least get a start on it. I may wait on this until friend gets her things out after getting her own place so that I have plenty of room since it is packed right now and her things are blocking mine. 5) work on straightening out my bills - Have been focusing on getting medical insurance for my boys and I and think it is finally all situated but since doctors don't want me working I have to do some new forms and change things around. I am still working on that so other bills have taken a back seat for now but once I have money I definitely need to focus on bills again and try to get things paid down or even off. One item I absolutely need to work on is getting my educational loans forgiven since I am not making enough at this point.

I have picked up and sorted boxes in the sewing room all afternoon. One box was taken out of the camper and dumped in the sewing room. It had sewing items in it that my mother & I used in the 70's. I sorted through mother's sewing basket. I sorted spools of thread into wood spools and plastic (I have a display of old sewing things including the wood spools of thread in the back of my head.) I found a few things to take to dd Saturday. I have a sack to take to the farm, a sack of socks to take to a friend's grandson, a couple of items to take to a friend on the way to the farm.
I'm almost ready to sweep the floor in the sewing room and maybe scrub it. Just a few more very small piles.

Okay, I am finally here, almost a week late, for my progress report. I did not want to report, because I only made progress on one goal.
First the bad--I was walking a dog and quickly turned my head to make sure no cars were coming and pulled a muscle running from my neck to my chest, and although it only hurt for 2 days, I used it as an excuse to stop my stretching completely. Even though it's exactly the kind of injury I'm hoping to avoid by doing the stretching--I guess I hadn't done the stretching long enough to help at that point. So I have to restart the stretching exercises.
I have not kept to my cleaning schedule either, although I had an important revelation about it last week and feel like I have to adjust what I'm doing. I won't go into that here, and I AM cleaning, just not on a schedule, but I can't say that my cleaning schedule goal is on track either.
Books however, are doing better. I'm down to 1 1/2 boxes in the LR now, 1 box of sale books and 1/2 of donation books. I'm steadily getting the donation books out, and if I could have 1 or 2 more good sessions with the sale books I should be finished. Once those two boxes are gone I'll have to clean and rearrange the book case that was behind it--it's been hidden for so long by book boxes that I haven't been able to reach it to clean! I still have the boxes in the corner and next to the cat table but getting those last 2 boxes out from in front of the book case will really make a difference in making my LR look like less of a storage room and more like a LIVING room.
I also have good news about my winter goal project. After months of trying to figure out how to get my ID renewed, I finally sent an email asking the right, very specific question, and got a "maybe" answer, which required a trip to the DMV. There, they were able to find and use the prior SS record (although previously I had been told definitely that they could NOT) and I was able to get my ID. Huge relief, although I'm still annoyed that no one could give me the correct answer at the beginning of this horrible effort.
I'm going to go back and read in detail now, to see what everyone is doing.

Three sections of sewing room floor cleaned, the contrast is amazing. Baseboards that I can reach are wiped down, windowsill wiped. I'm resting my head for a while since I have a headache from bending over at the waist. My knee thanks me.
