I see in a few people's signatures that they "posted with Tapatalk" I downloaded the app but can see to find this board on the app. Can anyone help me? I'm using the android version of the app if that matters.

shellsncheese, I'm using the android app, too. I only use it to post pictures, because I can't figure out any other way to post photos using my cell phone. I'll go look at it again, and see how I managed to get it to work, and then I'll come back and post.

shellsncheese I remembered it being tricky but I couldn't remember how I did it last time so I temporarily installed it on a different device to figure it out. To find the forum I had to log out of tapatalk, then search for takeonestepatatime.proboards.com. Once I was here as a guest I touched on the 3little lines in the top left to get a menu, and touched on sign-in or join. Then I entered my forum name and password. I'm then taken to a sign up to tapatalk screen where I'm told my email is already in use. (Kinda weird since I haven't entered it but there it is) I then go to log-in and sign into tapatalk. I hope this helps.

Irisheyes, is this at all helpful? I use a different email for the forum than I do for my Google account and don't think any of my info is shared between them.

openwindows I went back and reread Tapatalk's privacy policy, and read a couple forum discussions about their policies. My phone's main account, Google as required, will be read and stored by TT as well as the forums and respective user IDs. They also state, among other things, the data they collect may be stored in another country(ies) (and no longer subject to U.S. privacy laws). I know much of what concerns me is becoming fairly common, but I think I prefer not to install it. I'll look at it more in depth, later. Thank you for taking the time to direct me here, and offering to help. I will keep you in mind should I decide to give it a go!

I download yesterday and I had a hard time finding SOS but I finally got into SOS. I tried many things and just can not remember the combinations that finally got me subscribed to SOS. I did search proboards and then try in find SOS in proboards.

shellsncheese I think I jogged my memory a bit. I logged into proboards through the taptalk app then I went to the SOS website and clicked on the Taptalk notification at the top.

All of a sudden this whole website has changed appearance from what it used to be lie. I see Tapatalk at the top, but I've never downloaded their app, and I do not like their format. So, how do I get back to the regular website format that I like so much better?! Thank you.

There SHOULD be a link to the desktop version of SOS the site, maybe at the bottom of the page. I don't have Tapatalk so I can't tell you where to look. Can you find it, peaceandfreedom? |

Thank you, @celeste, but today it is back to the normal (much better!) view. I have seen the Tapatalk version that pops up every once in a while, but usually it goes away by the next day. This time it stayed for several days. But next time I will look for the link you describe. I have never gotten the Tapatalk app, so do not know where it comes from. Thank you for the response.

@celeste, it happened again.
This time, thanks to your tip, I scrolled to the bottom, looking for the desktop option. All it gave me was to switch to the mobile version, so I clicked on that. So another configuration showed up (which I had also seen at some previous time). But on the very bottom right corner of that screen was the place to click for the desktop version. Clicked there and the view I am used to popped right up on the screen.
Thought I'd tell you this so perhaps it might help someone else.
Again, thanks for steering me in the right direction !
