This is the W.I.T. (Working in Threes or 3's or whatever) thread. EVERYONE IS WELCOME, even if you've never posted before!
The guidelines are simple:
- Do some little thing to make your house less squalorous. - Do one more little thing. - Do another little thing. Once you have 3 things done, post them here.
- Post the next 3 things you plan on doing. - Go forth and conquer, return and post again.
Remember - if you are tired or sick or injured or depressed or overwhelmed, you are in the right place!
If the next 15 minutes consists of:
- Looked at hopeless living room and felt like crying - Decided you could take empty pop can to kitchen - Put away phone book - Picked up fast food wrappers on coffee table and put them in trash
.... YOU HAVE ACHIEVED THREE - DOM !!!
You could post:
Ta - Da's - Took pop can to kitchen - Put away phone book - Threw away McDonald's wrappers
Then your To - Do's: - Bring plates and glasses to kitchen - Put dirty socks in hamper - Bring folded towels to linen closet and put away.
Whether you do those three to-do's, or something completely different, once you've gotten 3, come back and post. Remember to take breaks and drink water. Drinking water counts as a Ta-da!
If you can notice what the person before you did, it might cheer them up to hear from you.
Go forth, have fun, and be generous to yourself with the Ta-das. YOU DESERVE THEM!

I like both your guidelines and Script's, Rosebud. Thanks for the water and the reminder to notice what the person before you did. I noticed your post. It's compassionate and colorful; thanks for putting it up.
I guess I'll just read both threads today!

hi rosebud and lilcherub; I posted on mothra's this morning but wanted to say hi rosebud, thanks for the color and cheer with starting this thread. Welcome back lilcherub; I wasn't here when you were before. I need WITs just to keep maintaining the few gains I have made! Getting out of bed is a tada!
ta das: 1. went to a garden job 2. did the dishes from yesterday and ate breakfast 3. made flyers for plant sale; need to xerox them and put them up later today
to dos: 1. get supplies ready for bringing to the school for our art project 2. eat a little lunch 3. clean up and change clothes and of course, be on time; a real challenge for me! Have a great rest of your day!

Hi CreativeChaos, I love gardens! Don't have one personally as I live in a high rise, but I do love going to garden shops and looking at all the lovely plants! I hope your plant sale goes well. :-)
Tadas 1. Cleaned off desk 2. Threw away papers on floor around desk 3. Swept (a little) around desk
Doesn't sound like alot, but I did other work things too.
Todos 1. Keep 4pm obligation 2. Print check 3. Go to bank
Not sure how soon I will be back since I am meeting a friend at Olive Garden tonight. But I do know I will home in time to watch the Season Finale of Lost.
