In case you are wondering ...Photobucket has broken all the SOS smileys.
They have a new system of charging money, which has caused this effect.
This is happening with photobucket on forums all across the internet.
Just posting so you know ... it's not you.
I have messaged the SOS moderators so that they can decide what to do.
EDIT to add: Script replied below that they are working on the issue.

Crummy that they started charging, but I guess that's how they make money. I thought the forum had reach some sort of preset limit. I was feeling bad because I use a boatload of check boxes, buttons, etc.

I noticed the smilie is back Thanx These generic Proboards smilies are working, because they belong to Proboards and were never down:                             (I think Celeste may have replaced the Proboards "kiss" smiley with her "beating heart" smiley, and tweaked a few others, so these special tweaked ones show) The special ones for SOS, that Celeste made, have been hosted by Photobucket, so those ones aren't working. For example: the hugs, the animal icons, and all the signs that say "To do" and "Ta da" etc. the cheerleader The smileys of housecleaning tasks, trashcan, toilet, laundry, etc! Dozens of custom-made smileys contributed by Celeste. All currently unavailable due to Photobucket's new system. |

Dear Lioness---Thank you for explaining this to us. I thought it was me or anyway I didn't know what to do. I think the loss of the smiley special ones will be a big loss.
I appreciate what you did & what the mods are trying to do.

Lion, I replaced all but the Angry and Ninja smilies of the original ProBoards emoticons, however I uploaded most of that set to ProBoards, not Photobucket. I think I fixed the basic smilies that were misbehaving on the Ladybug theme due to Photobucket links, but we'll see. Those are the smilies you posted above. I think I've got a work-around for the following emoticons, as long as you are using the default theme Ladybug.      I've turned off the smiley plugin for now. Any smilies available you will see by pressing the smiley button when composing.  The mods are still investigating long-term solutions. Photobucket looks like it will be charging a high annual fee to link to photos hosted on their site. I may see what else I can add via ProBoards. They have very limited storage, so we may have to make tough smiley choices if we decide to go that route. Oh, and casper ? This is for you!  |
