I was on here a couple of years ago and was doing really good but have fallen back into bad habits and can use the support I had here before. I am a single mom of 2 special needs teenage boys that is fighting cancer for a third time. I have seriously fallen back in regards to collecting items and not getting rid of anything.

Andrea--is that you?? I've thought about you several times, hoping you were okay! Are you still living at your mom's? How are your boys doing? I'm sorry about your health problems, it's no wonder that you fell behind. You know how to do it, one step at a time!

Yes it is Andrea and I am still living at my parents at least for now with all my health issues and difficulties with my boys. Just got diagnosed with Glioblastoma about 6 weeks ago and have treatment twice a week for at least another month at this point. With everything I have been dealing with working on the house has been seriously neglected.

Hello Andrea and Welcome back It's so easy for the house to slip back when their are so many challenges at one time, but I think your cleaning can be your rock during hard times as well. I am going through my house again to find donations and to discard so I will be working hard as well. Right now I'm trying to get easy tasks under my belt to help motivate me. I wish you all the luck in the world and my prayers go out to you and your family for all you are going through right now.

I'm so glad to hear from you. I've thought of you many times since you were on chat and have missed talking to
you. I'm sorry to hear about your health situation and the difficulties you are going through. As you try to clean up
and get rid of things remember not to overdo it and take one step at a time. Be kind to yourself. Praying for you. `

Thanks everyone for the welcome back and I definitely plan to take it easy and be happy with whatever I am able to accomplish. I did get some good news today that the tumor on my brain stem has gone down by close to 50% and the tumor on my spine is still the same size which means the treatments are working. I am praying that I will be in remission before Thanksgiving which doctor said is possible.

Things have taken a turn for the worse the last week and half. Last Sunday I got diagnosed with pneumonia which sent the cancer into overdrive. I found out today that the two tumors I have have gotten bigger and are compressing my spine which is why I have been in severe pain lately. I started getting heavier doses of the T-cell replacement treatments today and am under doctors orders to rest and not lift anything over 10 lbs for now.

Andrea, I'm so sorry. Please do not overstress yourself, you need to try and keep your energy while being in therapy. Your body and health come first, all the others can wait. Your priority is to get better and heal! You are the priority, not the house. Do you have someone that can help in the situation? A close relative, a friend? Ask them to come in your help if so, if you haven't already. Sending warmth, light and positive thoughts your way. {HUGS}

Have been seriously focusing on getting better and have great news that the treatment is finally working. The tumor on my spine is gone and the tumor on my brain stem is almost gone. I go in tomorrow and will find out if the cancer is gone. I also am now producing T-cells on my own but they want to keep checking for quite a while. I have been trying to keep up with the maintained areas. I am still taking it slow and steady but am doing more and more each day.
