Way to go Diane and Cando! No it didn't take me 4 hours to make my bed . I also cleaned up in the master bedroom, put away three loads of laundry, ate lunch, and talked to my DM. . And, sat in my chair way too often. Next roll is a #5 - going to work on the guest room - may take longer than I think!

I was wondering if you got lost in that room, Phoenixcat!
I not only put the glass items in the box, I wrapped them up well and sealed it, so it's ready to go.
I'm almost finished with this thread for tonight, I did my last list and then took my sister's dog for a walk. I will do one more roll of 3 and then will be stopping for dinner and clean up.
4, 2, & 7.
PEEP top of bedside table PEEP entryway Seal bin of letters, etc.

Congrats Diane! I finished #5 - took me a while to get the OMPH to start but went pretty quickly. Found an entire bin of mail that DH had put in there from when I was gone in February Scared to look at that. And, since I was walking in and out of the door to the garage - I started clearing that out and finished #1 too. Now we have a designated table for things coming into the house - can be cleaned there or left for a few days. Want to do at least one more task tonight. First I will make supper and then the winner will be (drum roll) #3 - clean off kitchen counters - excellent I can do that while I cook supper - winner winner. My outside recycling bin is almost full. And, started putting down broken boxes into our other one. I love when stuff gets out of the house! Also set up a donation staging area in the spare room. Because we all know that I will have so much to donate by completely clearing out my house while I'm home for a month or more.

dtesposito phoenixcat Sorry I abandoned y’all. I got a phone call after my last post from parents facility. My dads rash has spread to legs arms & neck. Dr wants him to go to ER. So we took him! DH got them to let me stay with him Since I’m poa. Told them I’m his legal guardian & explained how cognitively impaired & memory is. Etc. so glad he did this. They admitted him & I’ve been with him ever since. I can’t leave or they won’t let me back in. Dad doing well, may go home tomorrow afternoon or evening. Could be the next day. Cd

Oh cando, that's amazing that they're letting you stay with him, you are so kind to your parents. I hope he (and you) get out of there ASAP. Did they ever come up with a diagnosis?

First of all, cando , I'm so sorry to hear that you are in the ER with your father and I'm glad to hear that you were able to go in with him during this crisis time. I hope he is released soon. I used to do this game on an old flylady FB site and I'd love to try it again! Today will be a good time because I don't have a lot of time, but throughout the day I'd like to tidy each main room for 5 minutes in order to clean up messes from yesterday and keep things on track. So, I'm going to join in! 5 minute tidy in 1 - bedroom 2 - both bathrooms 3 - foyer 4 - upstairs landing area 5 - porch 6 - kitchen Going to use the random number generator that cando mentioned. I am about to join a meeting and will start my first 5 minutes after that is finished.

My day has been busier than expected. Next appt is in 20 minutes. Just rolled a 1, so going to do a quick 5-minute tidy in my bedroom! Update - Bedroom is tidy in 5 minutes - yay! Just what I needed - it felt overwhelming, but the reality was just 5 concentrated minutes returned it to tidy enough. Doing a yoga class in a few moments and then hope to do 2nd roll after that. **************** Ok, yoga class finished and now for second roll (random number generator). I added a new room to replace bedroom. 5 minute tidy in1 - bedroom powder room2 - bathroom3 - foyer 4 - upstairs landing area5 - porch6 - kitchen
Ok - rolled a 3, so 5 minute tidy in the foyer and then I'm going to make and eat some lunch. *************** Tidied foyer and then set timer for another 5 minutes and vacuumed foyer since the vacuum was plugged in and waiting to go! Made and ate lunch and now going in for next "roll" even though I really don't want to. It's only 5 minutes - I can do it! Number 5 - so I will spend 5 minutes tidying the porch, which is where I have been working at home today.

Porch tidying finished!
5 minute tidy in
1 - bedroom powder room 2 - bathroom 3 - foyer living room 4 - upstairs landing area 5 - porch cat pan 6 - kitchen
Think I'll do another roll and then concentrate on some work stuff.
#6 - kitchen, ok 5 minutes in the kitchen, which won't do much, but it's a start! ************
Did a little kitchen and a little work and now time to roll again...
#5 - so will go check cat pan (and will also check cat food and water while I'm in the same room)
************* no action in cat pan, but refilled food and swept up some kitty litter.
Going to do 5 minutes work and then 5 minutes...#4 upstairs landing area

After I have my coffee, breakfast and get cleaned up: 1) PEEP outside the back door and the back yard 2) Look for things I want for exercise in basement 3) clean off kitchen counters - yes again! 4) clean floors in master bedroom - her royal naughtiness was not feeling well last night - I think there is throw up 5) finish small bit in the spare bedroom 6) clean up family room 7) clean up other spare room - mostly laundry in progress 8) gather up toiletries in master bath and master closet and see what I have and what can be condensed - DH has a habit of leaving 1-2 inches in every bottle of stuff he uses. Sigh. 9)clean out laundry room 2 was the winner. That may include building a lamp because I can't see down there. And, carrying down the exercise balls that DH gave me for Christmas.
