Good afternoon, guys and dolls. Not a great connection and battery at 10%.
TA-DAH 1. Three boxes and a laundry basket donated 2. Two work uniform shirts (big on me) left in the commons area at work 3. Half a bag of general garbage tossed
TO DO Found the box of heavyweight black garbage bags, so filling them is priority. Also ironing and laundry. Organize a drawer that won't close.

Ha!!! I don't remember what I typed in my last post... forgive me if I repeat something!
ta-da's: Went for a walk Emptied the dishwasher Made pizza dough (I do this whole grain sour-dough version) Cleaned up a little bit in the sewing area. I literally have not cleaned this area in about 8 years. It's bad. Found a pair of socks that I bought years ago, but never wore, because they had a tiny hole that I was going to repair. (The store I bought them from is too far a drive to have warranted a return drive.) I repaired the hole. I'm not sure this counts as a ta-da, but the instruction book for the quilt-along that I will be joining arrived today. I skimmed through it, and then purchased an additional supply for my quilt. My goal is to get the sewing area cleaned up before the quilt-along starts in 3 weeks.
to-do: Make pizza, Tidy up kitchen Clean up laundry room or sewing area some more.

My goal is to get the sewing area cleaned up before the quilt-along starts in 3 weeks. "New" socks--and now they're in the sock drawer, ready to wear. I vote for yes on the ta-da of skimming through the instruction book, and then buying the necessity for that quilt. Think of what that prevented. For me, that would have meant at some point a hurried meal with no clean-up, or having to do take-out, or some other disruption resulting in a new mess and self-criticism. And it's so smart to get going on this in a somewhat more leisurely fashion than if you'd realized that the class was going to be only two days away. It will be fun to hear about your progress.

Hello, missjean , Ally , gaylem , razy, and anyone else who's been moving and doing today! 1) Straightened up the desk.2) Did blueberry crisp prep.3) Go for a walk. Sun delay, and now rain delay. Washed dishes. Also caught up completely on the SOS posts.
1) Make and bake the crisp. 2) Work 15 minutes on the bedroom project. 3) Attack those old newspapers. As I read once upon a time, "What do those first few letters of newspapers spell?"

Good afternoon (barely), guys and dolls! @goldethreads you are doing great! That crisp sounds delish. Good luck today! Tomorrow I report to work at 7 am, so this is last day I can do more than routine housework. Have WiFi and a half-charged device. Also a box of garbage bags. TA-DAH 1. Dressed in short-shorts and a social-distancing T-shirt 2. Fed myself and drank coffee 3. Packed my remaining reusable shopping bags into the car carrier, so I can't use them as "temporary" dash-and-stash bags TO DO 1. Laundry 2. Laundry room cleaning 3. Clean off dining table, part 1

missjean, you are dressed to kill (any clutter and laundry that rear their ugly heads)! 1) Went for a walk while it's still cool--my reward for getting up early. 2) Washed dishes. 3) Planned the day.
Darn. I've had breakfast and two mugs of coffee and walked, and now I just want to sleep. I'll set the timer for a 40-minute nap.
1) Work on bedroom project. 2) Toss old newspapers. 3) Decide and order comforter (expensive or better-rated quite expensive?).

goldenthreads I hope your nap rejuvenates you and the timer wakes you! Oh, it awakened me all right. I did not care. My body was too heavy to do anything but turn it off. I am rejuvenated, though. Good job on all the extras. Hi, joyinvirginia. I'll be back when I've done three somethings.

1) Had some coffee outside. 2) Worked on bedroom project.3) Tossed old newspapers.1) Empty recycling. 2) Rinse the sprouting seeds. 3) See if I can get my landlord to forward the URL for this afternoon's singalong. He printed it out, and it must have more than 100 characters! I duly entered it very carefully, received an error message, and I don't want to try again.
