It has been a long time, and I have been a member for a long time before that. Some changes in my life. Hurricane Harvey hit us hard, and then it seemed to rain for the next 18 months. So tired of mud....so sold that place and moved away from the coast to east Texas. We bought a place mostly for the horses. I have 9 sanctuary horses...rescues that are old and came from bad situations. We have good pastures here and a 12 stall barn...and we live in a small, 40 yr old house trailer. We are planning to build a house soon though. My husband is disabled with pulmonary fibrosis. He is on oxygen 24/7. My health is good, but my work load is extensive!! Not helpful that I would much rather work outside than in the house. So I am back for encouragement and inspiration. Hope to participate much more than in the past.

Welcome back, Ellen - thank you for rescuing those horses! I certainly can understand not wanting to be in the house and wanting to be with them! You do have a huge workload! this is a great place for getting things done that we'd rather not be doing. There is so much support here, and all the encouragement you'll ever need. Glad you are rejoining us.
