Put away dry dishes. Put a thing on the calendar promptly after hearing about it. PUPA 5 minutes. Make appointment to swap out tires. Put glass jars in a box on shelf, and discard the rest. Clean spot on sofa. Kitchen task: prep some vegetables for handier use. Determine if I need to make a phone call or if the info is online. Get ready for weekend. Get gas.

Glass jars with lids are right on top of my 'Could Come In Handy' list so we have cupboards full of them. Anyone up for a challenge? I challenge everyone with a hoard/collection/stockpile of empty glass jars and/or bottles to ruthlessly access how many they have and discard the excess. (or at least some of it ) I commit to getting at least 10 jars and bottles into the recycling bin.

razy OK--done! See #3 below. Spend 5 minutes on boxes. Decluttered several papers. Decluttered 5 jars: 2 yeast jars and 3 jelly canning jars. (Kept 7 jars: 3 of medium size, 2 little spice jars, and 2 larger jars that I will use for chopped vegetables. Truly. I mean it.) Complaint: Now I need to find a smaller box to put these in. Make appointment to swap out tires. Clean spot on sofa. Kitchen task: prep some vegetables for handier use. Determine if I need to make a phone call or if the info is online. Get ready for weekend. Get gas. Go for a walk. Spend 5 minutes on table/desk.

Apparently we have been doing much better at recycling as we go. There is still a few in there but I make pickles, sauces and jams so I like to have some on hand.

Swapped washing Coffee for lunch Did some baking - truffles/bliss balls from a box (no actual baking required with these) bran muffins and I have peanut biscuits (cookies) in the oven. I promised I let catcats know when I baked. Make sure the biscuits don't burn Clean up a bit in the kitchen Ponder dinner - will I cook or not?

razy Recycling as I go is part of why I didn't get rid of every last jar. The other part is that I have to hand wash everything, and peanut butter jars get used up the most often, but they are hard to get clean enough for reusing. So recently emptied jars go in recycling, but a few very clean usable ones will always stay. Went for a walk. Did some more weekend prep. Started dishes soaking. Make appointment to swap out tires. Clean spot on sofa. Kitchen task: prep some vegetables for handier use. Determine if I need to make a phone call or if the info is online. Get ready for weekend. Get gas. Spend 10 minutes on table/desk.
