WELCOME TO WITing! HAPPY OCTOBER! It's going to be a GREAT one! The guidelines for WIT are simple: - Do some little thing to make your house less squalorous. ☝️ - Do one more little thing. - Do another little thing. - Once you have 3 things done, post them here! - Post the next 3 things you plan on doing. - Go forth and conquer, return and post again. - You aren't required to do the 3 things you had planned on -- just get any 3 things done and then post proudly. Remember - if you are tired or sick or injured or depressed or overwhelmed, or just need to break your tasks down into something manageable, you are in the right place! If the next 15 minutes consists of: - Looked at hopeless living room and felt like crying 😢 - Decided you could take empty pop can to kitchen - Put away book 📚 - Picked up fast food wrappers on coffee table and put them in trash . . . YOU HAVE ACHIEVED THREE-DOM !!! You could post: Ta-Da's - Took pop can to kitchen - Put away phone book - Threw away McDonald's wrappers Then your To-Do's: - Bring plates and glasses to kitchen - Put dirty socks in hamper - Bring folded towels to linen closet and put away. Whether you do those 3 to-do's, or something completely different, once you've gotten 3, come back and post. Remember to take breaks and drink water. Drinking water counts as a Ta-da! If you can notice what the person before you did, it might cheer them up to hear from you. Go forth, have fun, and be generous to yourself with the Ta-das. YOU DESERVE THEM! .............................................................. Did stretches. Had meds and made bed. Pulled out humidifier to lend to a friend. Get dressed. Check to see if I still have the user manual for the humidifier. Put humidifier and manual in car. Write and address two sympathy cards. Go to pharmacy, post office, game store, and Target. Maybe: Go to bakery and library. Work on Project RT. Make call about Project G. Buy tickets for a performance.

Thanks for starting the thread goldenthreads Bed time now, so setting the first three realistic items on Saturday's to do list before the afternoon shift ➡️ Put away laundry/dishes☑️ ➡️Wipe off the muck from the back door ☑️ inside door wiped down and it's curtain in the wash. ➡️Go through seed box to find what can be started for overwintering and what seeds to add to the to buy list. ➡️prep salad & bag to take to work☑️ ➡️ Washing up☑️ ....ok going to try to be realistic, with three hours spare I'm not going to add more, anything else done would be a lucky bonus. Edit.. nearly all done..the seeds will go onto tomorrow's list.

Hi, notanotherdecade and doodles . Skip right over this bloggish part if you like. Rant: I thought my mistake was going to cost me $2, but it cost me only time and annoyance... I know I shouldn't have tried to do this shopping late on a Friday afternoon. I finished at Target later than planned because it took forever to find a section I wanted. I decided to go home a slightly different way from the usual, in order to avoid the extremely busy main drag. I'd gotten onto an east-west street, but it turns into a curved road that follows a natural feature, so now I was heading in a very different direction... Okay, I was now 180° off, but that's fine. I knew where I was. I then got in the left turn lane for X Street, and there's a little sign that says Mall Access. Well, they shouldn't be allowed to call it X Street. They need to call it You Will Be Forced into the Mall Parking Garage Street. Doesn't "Access" imply some choice? It was one way only, no escape, with an automated ticket dispenser saying it's $2 for 0-2 hours, and an automated gate. It took five minutes to get out of the garage to the automated pay station, where I finally noticed that the little machine had a message that told me to proceed and that the gate was open. I guess there's a grace period for those who have been duped. Wrote out route and shopping list for two errands. Went to game store and got the thing. Went to Target and got one of the three things I'd wanted. Wipe out/dust the humidifier. Put humidifier and manual in car. Write and address two sympathy cards. Tomorrow: Go to post office, pharmacy, and bakery. Sunday: Work on Project RT. Monday: Make call about Project G. Buy tickets for a performance. Send text to daughter asking for a decision on an invitation and finalizing plans for tomorrow.

This week TaDa Th- Pharmacy Some groceries, not a big shop, put fridge Looked at planners etc Fr- Went back to Wal-Mart Bought the $5 Barbie Jul-Jun planner Bought 10 $7 gel pens Bought $1.50 journal stickers, $2 4x6 scrapbook cards, $3 spiral sketch book, $.75 500 notebook filler, $1.50 Small journal for kitchen notes. All told $23 A few more groceries, it was the same mangy leeks, still need leeks Put fridge Decorated Barbie planner, which, when translated, means cover her the heck up. Top page was clear, with a thick 2nd page, so I made a pretty cover that shows under the clear cover. 3rd page thinner, couldn't tear out, 2 yr calendar on back, decorated that, too.
If I develop the planner ToDo habit, I'll buy a 2022 calender.
Meanwhile, having sticker fun!
Sat TaDa Up Coffee Wash face, glasses Meds Bleach wash towels, re washing steam PUPA 10 or so
ToDo Breakfast Dress hair Teeth
