I just found this site, and am cracking up!!!
Basically, it seems y'all are SHEs, and not Flybabies (what we SHEs call Flylady's 'followers'...). Frankly, most of them, who religiously followed her system, drove us SHEs, CRAAAAZY!! Kept chiding us for chatting, for not following what was supposed to be done that day, etc... they came to our board first, because, 1)they had been SHEs, and were the ones who Marla emailed at first, and 2) there weren't yet the Flylady boards. We were soooo glad, when they had their own place, and would stop trying to tell us we were doing it 'wrong'...
But, back then, our board was hosted by the newspaper, I believe the Columbian, and they were shutting the boards down...
Flylady graciously offered us space to create boards. Though, they were/are so chaotic, I couldn't use them...
Then, I was on FB, and had some SHEs as friends, and the board went down for a couple of days, and they flocked to FB, to see if we had something there...
Teri set up a board for us, and I spent the day, inviting my SHE friends, and, combing through their friend lists, for anybody who might be a SHE, and invited them!! By the time I was finished, the board was humming with activity, like our old boards did, and I was exhausted...
I didn't continue posting... told them I was just going to lie back, watch, and enjoy... all my SHE sisters, back in one place again...
If any of you are interested, especially, if you were red dress SHEs, search for SHES Congregating, on FB, and request to join!!
Maybe I'll look around some, see if I recognize anyone here...
Is there one called Bookworm, or, another, just plain Ann? I really miss them... and, one named Darlene... her DH did this heating/AC systems repair..
Now you know why, though you aren't against Flylady... you just can't follow her, every minutea excessive system, and, OMG, ALL those emails!!!
She once, accidently signed me up, when she meant to send me something by email, and, after only a few HOURS, I was HORRIFIED!!

Flylady was once a SHE, just like the rest of us. I was good friends with her, before fame hit, and, as with many others, was changed by it...🥺🥺😢😢
Her red dress name (the names were in clickable red) was Flylady, because she loved Fly-fishing, and taught it.
The Flylady of now, started, when some SHEs were having trouble with the card system, it was to big, much, for them to contemplate.
So, Marla started emailing those who liked her broken down instructions. She continued, it took off, and Pam and Peggy (Peggy was DX with MS, so can no longer do this... 🥺😢😭 Pam wanted to branch off into her own things) agreed, formally, to hand Flylady the banner.
And, it changed her, I don't feel, in a good way. I just tried messaging with her a few nights ago (I was contacting as many SHEs as possible for prayers for another SHE's father, who'd had an Occipital stroke). In talking with Marla, telling her that I missed her, missed talking to her...
Her response was that she was live on YouTube, twice a day... 😦🙁😟😳

I told her how that made me feel, and, she couldn't seem to even see, that treating an old, good friend that way, was so wrong.
Pam and Peggy were never like that. With them, you got what you saw. I remember, calling to reserve for a conference, and Peggy answered the phone (!!!) I told her I was a bit' off', because I'd expected someone whose job that was, would have answered the phone. She laughed, and replied, 'that's me'.
Then, as the conference was near Halloween, we were going to dress up in costumes (I went as The Midnight Queen... an old, original SHE board joke,
). Peggy told me that she and Pam were going to dress up as the Energizer Bunny, one, the Oradell version, simple, clean lines, minimal...
And, she, Peggy, was going as the SHE version... and, she said it was going to be a creative, wonderful version...
I laughed, said, no, no (I don't know... the woman had a gift, as does her sister, of putting a person at ease!), that, for it to be a true SHE costume, it must be partly finished, with last minute additions, that were obviously, not part of the original version! Like, the poof tail, safety pinned on, a bunny ears headband, quick, last minute, bunny face drawn in, etc...
And, she LOVED it!! The first day of the conference, here comes Pam, as Oradell, looking like she had a stick up... well, you know... and, her costume was a very simple one, streamlined, etc... and, she looked, as she walked up, as though she was haughty, and maybe, smelled something bad, but
...
Then, here comes Peggy... 😂😂😂 She's got a mostly sewn together, pink and white suit... had to wear shoes with it, because she ran out of time to do them properly, bunny ears on a headband (but, bigger, more elaborate than Ordell's), that kept slipping, because it was last minute, and she hadn't realized she should stabilize it... and, her poof tail kept slipping, because someone had quickly safety pinned it on...
Oh, my, we were laughing, soooo hard!!
And Peggy, such a sweetheart, gave me credit for it!!!
See... it never changed them... they were still the same 2 sisters, who would meet at Eddie's... who, just happened to write these books about a system, for those of us like them, that would actually HELP us get organized!!
I am very sad about Peggy, it's such a cruel disease... but, Pam is still spreading the magic...
And remembers most of us, and still gracious, even if she doesn't...
