Unbelievable. I ate a big bowl of rice and spinach, and completely forgot about the bread for an hour and a half. Credit for the assist goes to the internet.  grasshopper It's good that we're here for each other, isn't it?  Got dressed in clothes suitable for outside work. Finished mowing the front. Got ready for bed.  Inside

Hey grasshopper goldenthreads!!!!! I have not been on this site in a really long time - probably before COVID. and it is still here and welcoming to me and I am so grateful for all of you! Ally you inspired me about 10 years ago to start walking and it led me to a significant weight loss! I am back to the beginning with that  but still grateful for you for being there for me in the past when I really needed someone. GREAT JOB ON ALL YOUR TA DAH'S EVERYONE! Wrote a note on the bulletin boards....Package thieves just STOP
Hung all the wet clothes on the thing i use. it has a name, but can't remember it for the life of me.

Good morning!  I was talking with a neighbor about weeds and other gardening matters, and she took me to her very orderly garage and lent me two of her tools, one of which is a long-handled thing for pulling dandelions. You just screw into the ground this partial cone thingy, then pull out the taproot. Now I will probably not order one of my own, since she said I may use this for a while, and borrow her tools anytime. My day is made! ☀️🌈🌺 babz25 I missed you while you were gone! I'd been hoping you'd be back.  oust "Thingy" is a very useful word! We know what you mean--it's that thing you use for drying.   Took out compostables. Did some weeding. Started dishes soaking. Inside

Checked the mail box incase the package was put in there...no
dishes have been soaking for a good hour
Drove DH to work
Brought in my cart from the car
Quick vacuumed the living room
Put cotton sheet in the laundry pile

Maybe change the bed sheets
wash the soaking dishes

maybe put away some of the clean clothes.

I went to a picnic in a public park with a huge, beautiful elm that made a lovely, shady, embracing arc over our reserved picnic area. Went to one grocery store. That was enough. Put away everything from the picnic. Dusted in bathroom. Thursday or Friday Inside

Hi  goldenthreads and oust!!! Great job on your tadah's everyone!!! I need a little motivation to get moving - I just got some bad news (well not bad news, but anxiety provoking news) that I have to attend a meeting in person on Monday with a group of people that I work with but have never met (I work remotely and have very little interaction with anyone I work with). That means I have to go shopping tomorrow, since there is no way that I can go without having something to wear, since I have not attended a meeting in person since before COVID. I also really cannot afford the long trip (its over three hours from my house) and with gas prices at an all time high, it is going to cost quite a bit in gas, at least 50 or 60 dollars. Plus the new outfit, I am not sure how I can even manage it. But it would look very bad for me if I didn't go. picked dd up from bus stop responded to the text from boss about the above mentioned dreaded lunch walked the dog make my bed clean under my bed clean my room I really need some motivation and accountability today, which is why I am here. I wasted the whole day again playing games, while daunting and overwhelming tasks just piled up. Gotta get going! |
