reve and mylittlescholar - hope that y'all are both feeling better, soon. Y'all both got lots done, today. dtesposito -- Love your lists... you got lots done. My update: spent quite a while on some tax research re: Dmom Also, checked to see if credit card payment was applied on DMom's account. It was, but the total balance is not right. They have something wrong in their software because it is off exactly the amount of the payment, yet the payment is on the account. Just the total balance on the account is off by the amount of the payment. Makes no sense, so must be a bug. Called re: Mom's mailbox (like a po box)... but they closed at 4:30pm. I thought they were open until 5pm. Oh well, I'll try to find the paper with the answer to the question that I have. BBL. CD

Good morning! Another cloudy day here, it looks like we will see very little sun for the next week.
Cando, that paperwork for your mom sounds like a whole second part time job. It can't help that customer service has gotten so much worse since Covid.

Good morning everyone!
…
I'm back to where I feel like I have endless lists of things to do, and that makes me feel like sitting in a chair under a comforter reading all day because, what's the point in trying when there's so way of getting it all done? But of course, that's only going to make things worse, so I'll see what I can do today.
Diane
Well, didn’t get much done, yesterday, altho I was motivated. I’m having trouble with the getting side-tracked by DH. He sucked me into movieland. I’m sure that I was agreeable enough. Even with motivation to get stuff done, that overwhelmed feeling like dtesposito mentioned yesterday morning in one of her first posts… is so strong & combined with some depression… whelp. It is hard enough for me to fight it within myself… I must find more inner strength!!!! Must! I know I’m there, I have to find “me”, again. It’s been waay too long.

as i am old and deconditioned. Good morning scholar, I feel as though you are describing me right there! That's how I feel now.
Cando, when I think of how much you're dealing with (full-time job, house, more than one sick relative that you are doing so much for) I feel silly for saying I have so much to do. I guess part of it is feeling "old and deconditioned", the other part is having the large house and yard which I did not have to take care of before. I will try to remember that I have it good compared to those of you who have all kinds of responsibilities to juggle.
TO DO:
10 minutes on paper Update all lists Restock water in fridge Delete 10 hard emails

Good morning everypony!
Thanks, cando ! I am learning the "Wednesday Dance" and its important that I take is slow as i am old and deconditioned.
mylittlescholar I would never have imagined you as old and deconditioned... From your posts, you are very active and sound so young with the fun things that you do, and places you go to. Thanks for posting about the "Wednesday Dance" ... I need to be keeping up with what is going on in the world among our youth, etc. I am so far behind the times. DH really wanted to get started on that series and did suck me in to at least the 1st one. It is not my type of thing, but he really enjoys it and from the looks of it... most everyone does too! So, naturally I had to find out more about the "WEdnesday Dance" and yeah. Looks very cute! I played a youtube that had lots of folks doing that dance in this video. Lots of clips of people doing their take on the "Wednesday Dance". So I admit to doing it twice in front of the mirror in my bedroom and then the one in front of the guest bathroom. Ghah! It is fun, but doesn't look as good with my fat bod. I love to dance, though, so it felt good to move a little bit and do something new. And, I'm sure I do it pretty good, but have to work on the look, . Visited DMom. She's doing well! Thank G-d! dtesposito wrote: "...when I think of how much you're dealing with (full-time job, house, more than one sick relative that you are doing so much for) I feel silly for saying I have so much to do. I remember your posts and you did everything so well! Handled everything and it was very tough as I recall. Anyway, taking care of a large house is huge. We each have our own stresses, things that need to be done and responsibilities. Each one is just as important as the other. I have the same thoughts, tho, as I've read so many others on here that have it much tougher than me. I have to remember and hoping you do to... that we all just have to do the best that we can. Just like we are all not built the same way -- some of us are genetically stronger, healthier, etc. ... we can't compare with others or we can make ourselves crazy. Took all my meds, today. Drank 3 glasses of water so far. Sent text to DS & his wife - please send lists as I'd rather get them something they'd like, need or can use.

Moved laundry load to dryer & hung the hang-dry things Unloaded dishwasher Put another laundry load in washer If I'd unload the dishwasher when they're dry & put away the stuff from drainboard daily -- I think that our dish/cookware problems on sink counter & stove would be resolved. I don't know why I don't do it regularly. Time to hunt down my old list and/or make a new daily list. Can't believe it's been so long since I've tried to use a daily list... Next: 1) more time in the kitchen 2) Fold load of laundry 3) put away that load 4) move load to dryer 5) drink 5th glass of water CD

Thank you cando, you are very nice.
Hello reve!
I had dinner, worked on cards for a while, and am now watching a Christmas movie but it's almost time to get ready for bed.
Good night folks, see you all tomorrow in the weekday thread!

yeah my default is pretty high energy! I'm definitely feeling better, but have heard many stories of people relapsing with Long Covid after exercising too much. its frustrating.
I managed to get gussied up in time. We left early, they started late, there was a lot of sitting around. But finally the play started. It was very intimate, in the round. Well done, but the plot was rather old-fashioned. We went to a big casual brewery for dinner, and I went off plan and relished every bite. So far I am feeling okay, knock wood.
Then I went grocery shopping for the few items I forgot. I hope I can take tomorrow off, but I bet DVD will be over as we haven't really started decorating the inside.
I hope everypony stays safe and warm. The Big Storm has passed through here. It knocked a couple reindeer down. But we will rebuild! #winterstorm2022 #hometownstrong
