I’ve been keeping up reading in last weeks thread. So much I want to respond to, etc. but am out of time. I may go back & post some updates from my week, last week. Definitely be posting here this weekend. I posted my 1st update in that thread. Hope no one gets mixed up & posts in that thread instead of this weekend thread, tho.

Good morning!
Cando, I read your post in the weekend thread--
I opened the front passenger car of the wrong car to put my purse in.
That must have been scary for both you AND the driver of the car--hopefully they'll keep their doors locked in future even if they're sitting in their car!
My older friend's doctor had stressed to her to always use traditional Medicare so when it came time for me to get it, I went with the traditional kind. Too many restrictions with the new "improved" versions, not to mention the endless tv commercials that can drive you crazy! If your doctor accepts it and continues to accept it I'm sure it's okay, but I had a bad experience with my HMO type insurance before being old enough for Medicare so I don't want that again.
I'm trying to decide if I want to go to the library when they open, I don't have to go until Tuesday but Monday and Tuesday are supposed to be really cold, so I'll probably prefer to stay inside on those days.

Good morning reve! Wow, it sounds like you're going to have a designer bathroom!
I did go to the library, I figured I would make my present self do something nice for my future self and not make her go out when the temp will be below freezing.
I'm going to eat breakfast now.

Haha Diane! One of my big targets is to get a firm in to design and redo that bathroom as I desperately want a new bath, with a shower over it for guests, and a tiled or wet wall alcove for it. I've got a company in mind who offer finance deals that would make it more affordable for me, I just need to get the house to a point I would feel OK having people in and we are getting there, provided I kept certain doors closed. I was perhaps a little preemptive in my favourite homeware store recently. I cleared off all the stuff that was piled on the deep window ledge, which was two storage boxes, three baskets and a whole lot of extra stuff on top, only to discover mould on the window frame behind it from having so much stuff there. So I've decided to redo that area and not let it be used for storage and have bought myself a little tray, an (artificial, sorry!) plant, and found a boxed reed diffuser while clearing out the office, so those two things will go neatly on the tray and be easy to pick up and dust the window ledge. Then I've got a little lidded jar that matches the tray for the sprays we keep there, which will keep them handy but out of sight. I've cleared a lot of stuff that doesn't get used from around the sink, and am going to just have a new soap dispenser and a matching tumbler and nothing else. I think that will make it much better for any guests we have to stay. Hopefully these will distract people in the mean time as there is some water damage above the bath as it's not tiled but just plain painted plaster walls, something I've always hated since we moved in. The boyfriend also asked for a new toilet brush, and I got a nonslip mat for the bath as I'm worried about slipping when I get out as it's very narrow (hence wanting the new bath) I still need a little basket for cleaning products - I may repurpose one of my wire baskets if I can clear one out, to get rid of a bag and a basket worth of stuff, and to go over any other wall marks with a magic eraser. Oh and get rid of that towel rail I eventually built. But it's nearly as good as it can be without professional help!
Done: Load of laundry Ran dishwasher Packed clean laundry in the hamper and boyfriend has taken it upstairs Replenished toilet roll in downstairs bathroom
Edit: Forgot to mention I also bought net curtains and tiebacks this week! Something boyfriend's dad will hopefully be able to help us with in the near future.

Reve, I think that any bathroom that is decluttered enough to have a reed diffuser has to look good! I'm lucky if I can keep my toiletry bottles drip free and in a neat pile. A new bathroom is really a spirit lifter--when I moved to this house my sister had redone the upstairs bathroom for me--it's small and very simple, but to have everything new, and a beautiful new tile floor--I had never had that before in my entire life, and it was so nice.

Oh i am already exhausted. I haven't stopped all morning and can't believe its not 1pm yet.
I just drank Matcha green tea Dh bought me a hydroponic garden. It has 8 pods to grow seeds in. Today was the day to open and get it going. We bought mixed lettuce, grape tomatoes and Thyme. Who knows... we never did soil less before.
We dumpster dived a Keurig this week and today open the box and set it up. It looks new but the descale light was on. I you tubed it and used vinegar to descale. Its running perfectly!! Yahoo!! But now we have 3 coffee machines.
I worked my way though a bunch of dishes put the last of the curry in the fridge with the rice checked my emails had a long phone call with a perspective new client, but they called to cancel within the hour...at least i didn't drive over there I am just so out of energy but don't want to keep going back to bed for a rest. I'm just not that old yet but some days i am pooped.

Good afternoon oust! So, the previous owner discarded their coffee maker because it needed descaling? And presumably, bought a new one...
I'm just not that old yet but some days i am pooped.
I sympathize, I AM old, but a lot of the time I feel 20 years older than I am.
Next:
Take dog out and feed her 10 minutes on first floor 10 minutes on desk files Choose a card and a letter for this week from the military database

I think so Diane. This is not a cheap place to live. Its end of month people are moving. We are heading out tonight to see what has been discarded. Should be fun.

Done: Arranged all of the new bathroom purchases and disposed of packaging - the reed diffuser had a little cap stuck in it that wasn't shifting with fingers, so I used my teeth. Unprepared as I was for the splashback, my mouth now tastes slightly of coconut! Emptied living room trash Sorted and squared away living room recycling Emptied downstairs bathroom trash Laundry from machine to dryer Achieved dining table zero Watered plants
Happy with the bathroom - the sprays wouldn't quite fit in the little jar, but boyfriend has found a little out of the way spot for them. That's me for a while as I'm settling in to play some games with friends. Hopefully clear the coffee table at least before I'm done for the night
