Good morning, dtesposito , ohblondie and bree I, too, had a tech related problem...  I went to the portal to submit a LTC claim for Mom for reimbursement. The tab that I normally click to complete the form was opening to a blank. The other tabs were workiing fine, only that one wasn't. So, I had to call for help. On hold, then got someone. After a while, he helped me figure out something with the portal. He may or may not have known this... but there was a change made to the portal since I last submitted an invoice on Jan. 22nd. Gee Whiz! Anyway, I finally got the invoice submitted. CD |

Good morning everypony!
its been a bit stressful of late, but life happens. Lady D and 2 move back today. we are so far from having their room ready, but she can help with that. Theoretically!
I will also join my DPs for a meeting with DB's carer's boss today. I hope we can come up with some solutions. Everyone is stretched so thin right now.
but first, I will go back to bed!
DONE: made coffee updated log wrote in book checked online balance checked calendar checked email reviewed the foundational materials of a training organization I used to belong to became a member
reviewed list for therapy appt at noon folded laundry and put it away draped stuff to hang later
AFTER NAP: what to wear? wash up and get dressed review the week and note agenda items tdoc appt pack for DPs' (facilitation kit, check) meeting at DPs' buy the SUV maybe get car smogged and go to the DMV?
take meds and supplements

Cando, the check thing is weird that it was made out to your bank, I guess I never had an insurance claim for a property so maybe that's what they do if you have a mortgage? But you said you no longer have a mortgage account? How confusing.
Scholar, so mother and child are your new roommates? Is that temporary? Are you good with it?

dtesposito Yes, that is what they do. It's supposed to be a mortgage account, not an equity account or loan. We never changed it. Looks like the bank did, or something. Yes, they make the check out to all 3 of us. We've had insurance pay for 2 roofs in the past. The most recent was in 2018 and there was no problem. Its something with our bank. We have NOT made any changes with that mortgage since 2003!! This is just simply crazy banking error or something we didnt notice that was happening to our acccout. It's just craziness. We'll get to the bottom of it and try not to stress about it. Thank you for your care and concern... mylittlescholar Sorry to hear that you're having stress. so cando I don't quite understand the check issue. hope you can sort it out. I have had insurance claims on my property but they pay me directly. mylittlescholar you are buying an SUV today? have you been looking? or are you the type who just goes and makes a decision (I am an over researcher!). I could not take a nap in the morning and be ready for the rest of the day- is it hard to wake up again? I just had my second morning meeting. i want to go get my mail but I am not sure if puppy is asleep and i don't want to excite her with the door opening (I am home today) now a break. three meetings to go this afternoon. have to charge computer I entered food in my food log, I am only on day two but I like doing it so far! |

OK - so I could have stayed home to finish project - but there was a meeting this morning that I needed to attend. And the secretary left me off of the invite so being here I found out about it and was able to jump on. So I will stay home tomorrow and finish the project. Today I will work on something else. At least I found my "heart" sweater to wear for Valentines day! I have a meeting tonight and I think I will wear the jeans and sweater to that meeting as well!
I was able to set up an appointment with retirement to discuss my eligibility for retirement and an appointment for DH to discuss his retirement date. that's one step int he right direction.
OK - back to work

Hi all. I haven't posted here for a while. I've mostly been using the Chatzy chatroom but I've not even been there for a week or so. As there is no-one there today, I thought I'd post here.
I've been out of action for the past few days as my cat died last week and it just devastated me. I've just been too sad to do anything.
I really need to get back to it though! So I am currently digging through some living room squalour! It's setting off my allergies and asthma, so my next task is to locate my mask. Then back to the pile behind the door!
(Apologies but have to claim readback amnesty for the moment)

Thank you so much goldenthreadsI found my mask! Yay! I've put a large refuse sack full of recycling out in the recycling bin. Now to dig a little more behind the living room door. |

oooh retirement talk! I like the sound of that, ohblondie.
yes, Lady D and 2 will be moving in. I am not sure for how long. I think she has arranged to stay a couple days a week at another place, again, not sure for how long.
I am actually looking forward to it, along with some anxiety. Fortunately I can retreat to my DPs whenever I need to.
I am buying the SUV that I have been borrowing from my folks, because I need to get my own insurance. I am excited about that as as well

Okay scholar, I'm glad you're looking forward to company, I just envision you maybe getting tasked with more babysitting time than you would like, so speak up if that happens. Does your cat like the kid?
I'm tired. The porch light was another thing I've been putting off, the light was getting weaker and weaker which I assume was the batteries, but I won't know that until tonight when I see it after dark.
I'm eating a late lunch now. The rain is supposed to be happening now, there were a few sprinkles earlier but I guess we're in between bands of it--I'm guessing we won't get a whole lot.
