Good morning!
Lennon, thanks for starting the thread!
The dog had to go out at 1:30 this morning again, the good news is that it only took me one and a half hours to fall back to sleep. That's an improvement. Plus I was sleeping extra early so I actually got a good number of hours sleep, just not all at once.
I'm deciding if I want to go to the library today, I somehow reserved several books all at once and they are all there today. I should go today since early next week I'll have to go to the bank for my senior client and I have to do shopping. I have until Tuesday to get the books, and getting them Tuesday is better since that gives me time to finish the ones I'm reading now before getting new ones--I can't decide what to do. Not exactly a "first world problem", more like a "retiree's problem" to have the luxury of reading every day.
We are now back to highs of 40 or above for the next 4-5 days, so the inch of snow still on the grass will melt today.

lennon thx for starting us off. dtesposito good morning. I’m so glad your dog’s specimen was ok. TML hoping you feel better soon. You have so much on your plate. Hoping also your water issue gets resolved quickly. ohblondie Hate that your Dad had a raging UTI. I’m hoping he’s getting better. As you prolly already know, I lived that life for a long time with both my Mom & Dad. In & out of hospital during Covid times & staying in the hospital with… was so difficult. So many end up dying due to these UTIs when elderly. Goes into sepsis & the dr’s are pretty quick to suggest hospice once septic. So many let their loved ones go at that point. My Dad had sepsis a couple times, so they can be healed from sepsis. And my Mom, too. Almost always the ALF missed that physical &/or mental decline was the sign that a urinalysis needed to be done. Not the typical symptoms that younger folks have of UTIs You prolly already know all that, so just ignore all that, if so Cd

Getting caught up from the week & going into the weekend. So, Wednesday night, DH & I pretty much pulled an all-nighter. We only got about 1 1/2 hrs sleep. Really did a lot but so much more to do. Major clean up/out in the 60s & overweight is much harder than when younger. Our bodies are rebelling. Anyway, we did a lot but so much more to go. I packed a lot & DH did too. We both tossed a lot & lots to be recycled. Thursday: Before work, I removed a big box & smaller box of stuff to toss. Stuff from when Dad was discharged from one of the SNFs. we got the 2 big bags of giveaway stuff to my car. Got my suitcase & couple other bags & laundry basket to my car. I was pretty late to work. Dropped off Dog to play on my way to work. DH continued on the house. It will be up to the flooring people if we have cleared enough for them to get started & bring in all the flooring for the house. DH did great working on the main living area so they could put supplies in the den. I had already gotten enough of my stuff out of there. There’s still more to remove but will have to get to it later. He managed to make enough room & the installers are fantastic. All working out very well. After work, picked up my sweet dog who did well & made a friend with a Corgi that was there. She had not been there in over a year! I was worried about her since the last time my older dog was with her & she passed away over a year ago. On the way home, from there. I dropped off the 2 big bags of Giveaways to Goodwill. They did the master bathroom floor today with tile. It looks beautiful! Also, they pulled up the rest of the bedroom carpeting. DH & I picked out the grout color for that bathroom. DH was able to file some more receipts to our insurance company for reimbursement. DH & I finished clearing out DS’s old room (except for his closet). After a quick bite to eat, we went to the hotel. Fri. Dang it all! I was so tired I fell asleep without setting my alarm. I found my phone by my feet when I finally woke up. For some odd reason, DH just let me sleep & didn’t wake me. I had planned my morning so well & was going to get up extra early to take the dog to play & be at work on time. The hotel is a little further from work. Just a bad morning. DH took the dog. From rushing & so nervous /stressed from oversleeping, ended up sick to my stomach & didn’t get to work hardly at all. Only about 2 hours. But, I never even made it to the office. Instead, my boss had wanted me to put a brand new project ahead of everything else & it involved going to a different building. A high rise & consulting with someone in their very fancy office. That went well, I think, and I’m off on a pretty good start on this project. It’s not one that I will enjoy… After work, picked up sweet dog & went to our house. They finished the floor in the master bathroom & could walk on it. Also, the master bedroom carpet was installed & looks beautiful! We got extra thick pad like I had gotten when we first got our house over30 years ago. I took my shoes & socks off & walked on it. So soft! Laid down on the floor for a little while just relaxing & enjoying. Finally carpet back in our closet, too. (We had been living with concrete floor in that bathroom & closet & part of that bathroom for 2 years!! Also, the insurance company is going to pay a little more, too! So exciting. If you read this post, thank you. Will check in later to give more updates. TwinkleToes hoping you’re feeling better. You did great yesterday! Luv, Cd

I read all that TwinkleToes. Morally neutral was a great message. Thank you for the video suggestion. Hugs to all - Life on life's terms is not easy for so many of us. I am on the hunt for a cheap wheelchair. My mental health may improve if I can get out regardless of my neuropathy. Not one single provider has returned my calls about a referral I need. It is really hard to follow through with the fatigue and depression. Argh. I will complete my morning and night routines.

catcats, yes, it is nice to have hair again. I have always had long hair. Styling short hair every day is a total PITA!

Good morning cando and PS!
PS, I'm glad you're looking for a wheelchair, not being able to go out anywhere is depressing.
Cando, I hope the rest of the work goes well and that you'll soon be back in your home with no workers and nice new floors!
I did go to the library, I really am trying to think about "being nice to future me" and that gives me one less thing to do at the beginning of the week. I might try to shop on Monday, the bank is closed but Walmart will not be.
It's still cold this morning but the sun is shining brightly.
The first thing I need to do today is go online and buy a few special cards for some birthdays coming up. I have plenty of general cards but for the people I know well I always try to find cards that are personal to someone's interests. After that it will almost be time to take the dog out again.

lennon---Thanks for starting us ! cando---You have been so busy and you handle that so well ! You are working at a job and tearing up your house all at once ! I bet it's almost worth it though, as you see nice tile and carpeting appearing !!! @peacekeeper--- about the hair thing, but I remember it so well !! I am SO SORRY that you have bad neuropathy ! I had several months of it 2 years ago, no known cause, and it finally went away after taking Gabapentin for a while. I hope you get relief, because I don't think most people realize how miserable it is. Or at least, I didn't, until I had it. Wishing you well. I have showered, done most of the daily basic things, packed up my DGD's Birthday bag--party later--and dealt with some side effects of changing my BP meds this week. Had to order a new monitor for that. Put away a Walmart order. I should vacuum, but I am not up to doing it this morning. It may need it until Monday, but so be it. One thing I learned in Nursing was how to prioritize, . catcats

Cold here this morning but nice and sunny. I started just to wash the dishes, then saw how bad the stove was, so did that. The trash is still waiting to go out. I think it may go to 40 degrees later so i will wait.

Good morning oust!
I didn't start the laundry because I remembered that it was a phone call day, that means by the time the clothes are ready to come out of the laundry I'll be on the phone and they will sit in there and get wrinkled. I will do laundry tomorrow.
Next:
10 minutes PEEPing
10 minutes on books Restock water in fridge Delete 10 hard emails

Good Morning/Afternoon Everyone! Thanks for starting the weekend off lennon ! I am getting a late start. I called the Dr again and they said to call back for first appt scheduling time on Monday and to go to ER if I feel worse. I decided to go to CVS Minute Clinic tomorrow and do the Monday scheduling. I am trying to figure out what I want for lunch and then I will start house cleaning. Slow house cleaning but trudging along. I want delivery or drive thru for food. I wish we had the drive thru options of my home town. When I went back to visit it was omg - I could pick up a nice homestyle dinner for myself and cousin via the drive thru. Here it is McDonalds, wraps, and Dunkin Donuts neither of which have much i can eat especially right now when I am on bland BRAT diet type foods. I had GF/DF mac and cheez for breakfast and a muffin for snack. I think I may get some chicken and rice soup via drive thru and see if there is anything else on menu that I can eat. No soda - I have to be no soda for a while but drink water/ tea/ electrolytes. I am really glad the antibiotics took care of the cat scratch fever and the infected cat scratches (me and the kitties all go Growl/HISS to the awful bed people that caused this mess) but the antibiotic aftermaths for the one they had to prescribe are awful. I am putting everything off and napping so I best get the soup from the wrap place and try to get started with my day.

oh, my walk was much colder than i expected. I had some tuna in the car to bring up so jumped in the parked car for a sit down and a warm up. Why did i think it was spring? No heat on in here and 70 degrees thats probably why. I'll get the mail tomorrow.
