Well it is quite a brisk (cold) morning here.
I am going to toss a load in the washing machine, empty the dishwasher and start my list. First up though is a big cup of hot coffee!
1) Get mother to bank early AM (try to close out two accounts and deposit her check) 2) get to another branch to close safety deposit box (this is a horrible bank/branch) 3) meet tenants to do lease/check/keys (10am) 4) deposit said check (different bank from the early am bank with my mom

Good morning lennon, thanks for starting us off!
Good sleep last night!
And I was surprised this morning to see an inch of snow on the ground. I totally missed any forecast of snow yesterday until right before I shut the computer off to take the dog out--then the radar picture showed blue--but when I went outside, there was nothing coming down so I thought we wouldn't see any. But there's a coating on everything this morning, which will probably melt by afternoon since we're supposed to reach 40. Then over 40 every day for the next week.
I hope everyone has a good weekend, especially all you busy, Monday through Friday working people!
Diane

Morning Everyone! Thanks for getting the weekend started lennon ! This is my weekend ->. (Sung to the tune of lollipop - Lollipop Song Link Youtube ). Except for lollipop it will be baby step baby step… So much to do but just going to take it one step at a time. What do people use for seasonal clothes storage. I remember ages ago my grandmother used large sealable trash cans (the old fashioned kind sized for outside). She would line it twice with those heavy black trash bags which would eventually each be tightly shut with a twist and zip tie. Toss in some cedar balls/blocks/etc and then put clothes in by person and season. Then she would store in attic. I can’t store it in attic as I would never be able to get it up or down. Also basement would be problematic for me. I do have an extra closet it could go into once I clear that closet out. Other ideas are welcome First up for weekend is 1. get dressed and get breakfast2. Make bed 3. Work on dishes

good morning everypony! TML I use a combo of bins and racks. I get the $9 ones from Target.
we had snow here yesterday--third time in my 60+ years, I think. Raining today. I have a commute to see a client, hope the traffic is okay. I am nervous--imposter syndrome! even though she contacted me. woke up an hour early.
I think my laptop is broken--can't always find the wifi.
I got the organizing the toiletries project done. In the nick of time. it didn't have a big impact visually, but I opened up a lot of space for Lady D in the bathroom cabinets. Once I fold the linens, the closet will look nice. I need to label the bins. I wish I had taken a before picture, I often forget.
DONE: made decaf ate protein took meds checked notifications
NEXT UP: check weather
what to wear? wash up and get dressed do face do dishes
PREP FOR CLIENT: print out notes print out documents check directions and commute time
PACKING LIST: flip charts pens sticky notes scissors notepad decision pad water and coffee

Good morning TML! I just have a plastic storage bin for my sweatshirts and thermal shirts. My jacket gets put away into a closet for summer, and my mittens and scarves are in a closed wicker basket that sits on a chair in the living room all year round, so the dog doesn't jump up there and put hair on the one non-hairy piece of furniture in the house, in case someone comes in that has to sit down. I don't have "summer clothes", I wear the summer clothes all year round but just add sweatshirts/hoodies on top! And since that is so unlike other people, I know it's not any help!
Oust, 61 degrees is so cold--how are your heat bills? I guess you don't know how to compare it since you didn't pay heat before, but I'm sure they're lower because of how cool you keep the apartment.
Scholar, good luck with your client, you have a wealth of information, you'll do fine.
TO DO:
10 minutes PEEPing Start dishes soaking Restock water in fridge Delete 10 hard emails

$45---is that a typo? Shouldn't it be $145? If not, that's amazing!
Next:
10 minutes PEEPing Sterilize dish sponge and wipe out microwave Wash some dishes Delete 30 emails

Happy Saturday! a lot of activity on this thread -I don’t have much to report; it’s very cold here. I’ve been enjoying the quiet morning; my introvert side is soaking it in.
I did clean up the pet food area and did the dishes
I’ve been texting with my old college roommate which has been fun as we don’t live near each other and I haven’t seen her since before Covid
I’m becoming list averse, which is weird because I love making lists! but I feel like I have so much I have to put on the list that II don’t want to face it
So for this weekend, I hope to accomplish: Sort my stash and dash bag from yesterday pay any bills this pay period put together a stack of my tax documents do two loads of laundry get to church Vacuum Walk puppy each day. Today it looks like 4 pm is the time as it will be the warmest at 27 f.
I am also volunteering for a work event tomorrow so I’m hoping that it is fun and my extrovert side is happy about that!
The dark shadow hanging over my weekend is that I really should do work work!!! I should put aside two hours to work on painstaking project- it’ll make my life much better/ it needs to be done- it’s not done because I’ve been putting it off ….but it just seems so dreadful to do !!! however my goal is to spend two hours in total, not necessarily all at once, working on that project
Diane, I like to watch Netflix shows that have some action and mystery in them- not like big car chase scenes but like political thrillers, spy movies and police/ detective mysteries more than romantic comedies or relationship movies. My favorites have been broadchurch and hinterland.

oust do u also have an electric bill? $45 is amazing! I have been keeping house at 65 to save money snd I am so cold! I am going to bed earlier just to get under the covers. I am trying to see if it will save significant dollars. Unfortunately next bill will be an estimate so I have to continue my experiment
