I have been laying in my recliner for the last five hours, almost six. I need to get up and DO SOMETHING. I hate depression. I am going to try to Will myself out of my chair, set the timer on the microwave, and try to do a ring around the house (which is what I had listed this morning). Reading all of your lists really helps motivate me. Thank you for being here in this thread.
DONE: Take shower Hair, teeth, face Dressed Take Meds Breakfast Drive to mechanic Mechanic appointment Drive home from mechanic - stopped at two thrift stores. Almost everything I bought was a gift for someone else. Ate lunch

TT, you can do it! Here's some energy:
I haven't done the scrub pants shopping yet, my back was hurting so much during the plant room work that I had to keep sitting down. I think I may be done with anything physical today.
I will now do the dreaded clothes shopping...

I got my hair cut today and so far that has been my only accomplishment from my home list. I also ate on my diet so I guess that is an accomplishment too. I am taking an after dinner break and then i need to start on the house.
I am 85 days gluten free. I am feeling better with it. I walked up the stairs today and i just bounded up them one step at a time and not hold on going side ways and doing step foot - step other foot - feet together then next step rinse and repeat.
Maybe I will do one thing at a time as i seem to be having issues.
Next up. - start laundry

Thanks so much, Diane! I set a timer and buzzed around like a bee. I didn’t really work from my list, but just did what I felt like doing. I am going to nix the to do list and just keep adding to the done list as I finish things. Now I am in my chair again, but going to set a timer for that too. So, my timer is my best friend right now. I dread clothing shopping, too, so I understand. I hope you can find the pants quickly,

TT, I love timers, they are so helpful! I found a couple of pairs of scrub pants to try, none look ideal, but that's always the case with me and clothing so I will try a couple and see how they work.
I'm going to eat dinner now and probably watch some tv.

Scholar, don't hide under the covers, try to find something small that you'll be happy to get done and DO IT! Then if you have to crawl under the covers you will at least have one successful thing done.
TT, dinner was refried beans and veggies--green beans, corn and cauliflower, plus a leftover chunk of sweet potato. I think sweet potatoes are my new favorite food!
Time to get ready for bed now, good night everyone, see you in the morning!

Hi ! Today I did a lot of PUPA time, and the basic things, including cat pans. My new Microwave was delivered and my DD drove here from home and put the broken one on the back porch, and lifted the new one up onto the counter. She had had only 3 hrs. sleep the night before and then babysat our baby ,7 month old Aidan, all day. I really did appreciate her doing that. Gave her a small bottle of Tylenol that she was able to use, and a few other things, while I was thinking of them. I have now wiped out the Microwave and set the clock on it. I wish I had some more energy, but it got up and left.
Enjoyed reading everyone's posting this weekend.

Back in February I took several large black contractors bags full of dirty laundry to wash. It was my daughter's and her husbands. Itb was in the basement of the apartment we were getting ready to rent. I finally finished washing it all and today we returned it all to them. We had a couple of errands to run and we ended up at their house. It took a couple of trips, but all of the clean clothes are out of my house and out of dh's car. Bit by bit I am getting through things. I still need to get the ironing board out of my car, could not fit it in DH's car.
Tomorrow: two loads of son's laundry take my dad out for ice cream finish cleaning out car

Well it snowed overnight. Not a lot. Maybe an inch? I am so ready for a nice day so that I can clean out my car. I want to vacuum and wipe down the interior. I guess it will be another week or so.
I have laundry lined up and ready to go. I have had my cup of coffee and I made some oatmeal. Yummy! So time to get moving.
