Heading out to destination wedding tomorrow so done with challenge until December. 1) Eat at home and plan my meals. 50-60% on this which is better than no percent!2) Figure out some online pilates and yoga classes. probably start of my December list 3) Finish the ordering for my next trip. Yes I'm done with all I'm going to do - will be packing today. All my returns are finished. 4) First week - finish what I'm doing at my parents' home - cleaning, de-cluttering and shipping out boxes to my home. Already reported once or twice - took out a ton of stuff from there. 5) Work on the outside, the garage storage room and the outside storage closet. This was also completed! 6) Take out a lot of donations. And, see if I can get someone to pick up furniture. Yes a bunch has gone from the various clean out efforts. This past weekend I worked on the home office a bit which is also where we store our luggage and designated 9 pieces to go. We also got rid of 3 pieces of furniture from the house.See you next month!

Itsybitsy, that's a great list!
Phoenixcat, I hope you are enjoying the wedding!
I didn't post last week for some reason, report day fell on Thanksgiving but I don't do anything on that day so I could have reported, I think I just forgot. Now there is only one day left to this month.
I finished the Christmas card goal and in fact, way surpassed it, because I've spent a lot of time on them the past week. I finished the repotting by giving one of my jade plants a bigger home. And I just finished the half hour in the basement today, I wanted to neaten it up some because I still haven't had the fall furnace check done and I have to get the guy out for that--for the next week the temps are in the 40s so this should be a good week, he shouldn't have the emergencies heating people get when the temp drops suddenly and people find out their furnaces have issues!
I have been at baseline some days and when I haven't been it's because there's a Christmas card mess on my work table, which is kind of okay since it's an ongoing project. I also just brought up 6 boxes from the basement to the kitchen so I can start cutting them down, I decided I had too many empty boxes stored down there so chose 6 to get rid of--they will be gone over the next couple of days. I did 20 minutes out of my goal of 60 minutes of my password project--I really need to finish that, I needed it again last week when I couldn't find the password to the pharmacy I went to for my Covid booster. I really have to devote time to that one next month. I didn't do anything about my pet supply storage problem, probably because I have no idea what to do about it.
And I did work on the box of books. I had 11 books that I wanted to try, I tried 2 and wanted to read both. One is finished, it's a short book, probably meant for young teenagers, but I enjoyed it--it's about a woman who keeps creepy dolls in her house. And I started a second one but haven't read much of it yet, it's a historical fiction set at the Chicago World's Fair in the late 1800s. There are 5 more that I have looked more closely at and want to try, and there were 4 that I looked more closely at and put in the give away pile. So after I finish the current book I still have 5 more to try from the second box I sorted. Slow going, but at least it's going.

It's the end of November, November 30, so I'm starting small. Very small. I will clear one square foot of floor space every day, then maintain it. Today I got a big pile of magazines OUT. Tomorrow a box of "stuff" I put in a corner long ago. I have no idea what's there, but I vow it will be gone before tomorrow evening.

Well, it is the last day for the November challenge. I did do the den bookcase and most of the weeding. The cat pans and carrier, etc. were washed outside and the water was turned off, front and back. The rocker won't be fixed until next year and no, the Roomba is not in place yet. But I did so many other things that I am satisfied. This morning, I recycled and trashed hundreds of paper things from my desk, after looking at each piece. And all week, I did more of that type of thing. This afternoon, I will bag up the rest of the dead, tall weeds which are still on the patio. Tomorrow, they can get picked in the yard waste collection. I am satisfied and I hope everyone is pleased with their challenge work. Be happy !!!

Everything considered it's been a good month. Looks like everyone got a lot done, or is on their way to accomplish things. I had company today, and before they got here, I put in even more time making things neater. And after they left, sensing the finish line was near, I rested... I'm glad this month is over. I worked hard almost every day of the challenge. But that is what made it a challenge.

Catcats and BetsyMarie, I'm glad you're both happy with what you got done this month. I think I am too, since I usually have more than one and half things not done. The pet supply storage and the password project will both go onto December's thread.
Jannie, I love square foot challenges--they are concrete, manageable and easy to visualize--it's easy to see if you've done what you said you would. If you continue through December you will have cleared 30 plus square feet!
I will post the December thread.
