The dog did want to go out after eating, but not right away. It's very cool looking outside, there is fog everywhere.
I will do one more list before dinner.

I think I need one gift card for a niece and I can drop that off over the weekend
My DD has wrapped a good chunk of the gifts
The neighbors have the luminaries under control. The bossy neighbor has pissed off a couple of neighbors but that too shall pass....
I made three pans of lasagna, two meat free with spicy and one with turkey meatballs as DS GF cannot eat beef. Two for tomorrow night and one for Christmas dinner
Ok, time for bed!!

Hello Busy People !!!
Well, I did the dailies and washed a big load of clothes, including my big robe.
Vacuumed all through. Emptied vacuum. So much fur in it.
Quickie meals.
Long talk with Carolyn this afternoon.
We went to 5 PM Mass; it counts for Sunday. We will go tomorrow afternoon for Christmas Mass.
Just folded and hung that laundry and put down dry cat food.
My best to all; hope you get done what is really necessary. If not necessary, let it go and get some rest. Be gentle with yourselves.

Good advice catcats! Well, my comment about being tired earlier was prophetic! I fell asleep on the couch soon after, and was out for a couple of hours until boyfriend came down after watching his NFL game and woke me. Got the middle bathroom done after washing my hair and taking a bath, and I feel much better for that. Tomorrow's focus therefore is finishing off the kitchen and taking care of the downstairs bathroom. Nearly there, and with mum visiting tomorrow, I want to be in a place to enjoy it.
Done: Achieved coffee table zero Cleaned bath Sprayed down shower Cleaned wet wall panels Cleaned sink Changed towels middle bathroom

My family had to postpone Christmas due to sickness. So, my hubby and I are having a different kind of Christmas. We will go see lights in the park this evening.
I think I am going to spend the day racing to 100. See how many rounds I can do, for those who don’t know and may be wondering, “Race to 100” is game I came up with to help me get things done. I struggle deep,y with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I am overwhelmed every single day. Playing games helps me. So, with this game, I simply count every action. After I get to 100, I update my “done” list here and take a break (between 5 minutes and 30 minutes) depending on my fatigue. For example, making my bed , I may count to six because I will straighten two pillows and pull up four blankets. Unloading the dishwasher or folding a load of laundry will earn a rest quickly because I count every dish and every piece of clothing. I know this may sound crazy, but living with mental health disorders has helped me learn to think outside of the box to help me get out of my head and into my life. Counting helps me. And it’s wild how fast you get to 100! Counting everything you touch and deal with really adds up. I feel such accomplishment when I know I completed 100 actions. This positive feeling leads me to do more. Sorry for the rambling.
Off to do my first 100 …

Reve you're doing great on that list!
TT, I love your games--I especially like counting, it gives a feeling of satisfaction! I'm going to do a game today too, today and tomorrow I'm going to play computer games and READ. But so that I'll still get a few thing done I will incorporate some work with the games so it hopefully won't feel like work.
There is still one yard job that I really need to do, emptying those pots. Yesterday we did not have actual rain, but it was foggy in the morning and evening and somehow misty all day long so that everything stayed wet outside through the whole day. I can't empty the pots until the soil dries out, so I hope that happens today because we have rain forecast for the next couple of days and then it goes back to the 30s.
Last night I went back to our regular routine with the dog, and she went back to NO panting at bedtime, and sleeping all through the night! I don't get it, but I'll take it.
I very much agree with catcats:
If not necessary, let it go and get some rest. Be gentle with yourselves.
Happy Christmas eve morning, everyone!
Diane

Christmas Eve!!!! reve you accomplished so much! TwinkleToes I have a family member who is sick too and not sure if they will come tomorrow I was not that productive yesterday! And I really needed to be. But my back is a factor. I did take puppy for a walk- she needs it, not sure it was the best thing for a back! I did use instacart! I was like why not!!! It is a way to get help. I might use it more and more. While the instacarter was shopping, I did the pup walk and also ran to two stores myself. I am wondering as a single parent why I did not use it more. I need to carefully plan out this day. So much to do! Mobility is not easy I am going to wrap presents tomorrow as DD is a late sleeper. That will free up today - need to find one ingredient for my main dish s key ingredient. I did not think it would be out. Ugh!!! Today need to clean mostly, find that ingredient!!! And get to church.

Thanks TT!
Good morning bree! The shopping services are great if you can afford them--and in figuring out if you can afford them, you have to figure in your gas cost if you did the shopping yourself, not to mention your time and aggravation. So yes, I think you're wise to take advantage of them when needed. I would not want to be in a grocery store (or any store) today!
I fed and medicated the dog but she didn't want to go out yet.
