Diane - two days of work were alright. Still very much feeling like I need to play the lottery so I never have to go back but it could be a lot worse. Re. Christmas tear down, I was so lucky it was a two person operation! Boyfriend said "shall I take things off the tree and hand them to you for putting away?", and that worked so well, and I got everything packed neatly and quickly. Much better than my usual rip everything off and throw it all on the coffee table for a week! The living room looks so bare now without it and I miss the lights so much Done: Cleared air dryer Folded and bagged laundry Clean laundry taken upstairs Cleared air dryer 2 Folded and bagged laundry 2 Load of laundry Laundry from machine to dryer Achieved coffee table zero Achieved dining table zero Achieved floor clothes zero I'm two towels away from laundry zero! How annoying! That's tomorrow's target then!

wow reve you are super productive! today is cold and snowy, but normal amounts of snow for January I see many are taking down Christmas decorations. I will leave most of mine up until MLK day; it is a long weekend for me so I have time and I enjoy sitting in the Christmas tree lights. I don't decorate extravagantly. catcats your trips up and down the stairs are hard work! It reminded me that I am grateful that I no longer set up my Christmas vilage as puppy would not be able to resist its complete and utter destruction! That was many trips up and down the basement stairs. Yesterday I had hoped to get more done than I did. I have a particular hair care product that I like, sold in drug and grocery stores, nothing fancy but it sells out. So I googled where it was in stock. To a town to SE of me, not far. That worked out because I wanted to go to a gift shop in SE town. So I had these plans in SE town: drugstore, pet store, gift shop, heading back to my town for Aldi's and posh grocery. But despite the web saying the store the item in stock, it did not. So I knew I had to head to a town NE of me where it was in stock, kind of a drive from SE town but went to SE pet store. To my surprise they were out of the leash I wanted for puppy! I did buy puppy an NFL bandana. So I went to gift shop, they had just what I needed, then I hauled over to NE town, got my hair thing, and then went to NE pet store and bought puppy leash, filled car with gas and I had to get home to walk puppy before dark so no grocery shopping yesterday. Thankfully I am stocked up ok on pet food So due to the need to go from SE to NE I did not have time for groceries. A boring travelogue for sure but it made me think about leaving thing to last minute -- I did not, these were not urgent things, but good to plan ahead! today my day is church, groceries, dog walk, football. We only have the one car and DD asked to take it this afternoon, so puppy and I will walk to our usual place of school and town buildings. Yesterday we went to the park in lots of snowfall, very magical. Last night I also did my nightly chores of dishes to shiny sink, sweep floors, clean up cat food area, fold couch blankets, and clena litter. Doing those gives me a sense of peace I need to do laundry today - woke up to girlcat throwing up on my bed! poor kitty, she is elderly so I hope she is ok.. "My" bird showed up last night -- when I got home from puppy walk, Birdie was there at about 5 pm. This morning at about 7 am when i was letting the tribe out, Birdie had left for parts unknown. Have a good day!

Good morning reve! Yes, the tree lights are the prettiest part of Christmas decorations, I do miss that.
Catcats, I can so sympathize with the stair issue--the first few times of the day are okay but when I have to make too many trips I really feel it. I'm sure you're happy to get so much put away, though.
I woke up this morning overwhelmed with things I want to do over the next couple of days. It looks like we may actually get a major snow this week! It's so funny, just a few days ago I complained that we won't get snow, and I might get my wish. I now feel like I have to go to Walmart tomorrow instead of waiting til later in the week, which means I have to do an inventory so I know what I need.

Good morning bree! I think even if I had a car I would still do a lot of shopping online, driving around from store to store takes up so much time and gas. Although, shopping in person can be entertaining, especially for someone like me who spends a lot of time at home. And that reminds me, I should place an online order for more bird seed now before it gets snowy. I feel so bad for the birds in the snow and cold that I put out a lot more seed in weather like this.

I'm doing an inventory of what I need shopping wise, I just placed a Walmart order for shipping, which usually ends up being store delivery anyway, for some bulky things like bird seed, TP, and furnace filters. I will walk there tomorrow to get the items that I can't get shipped.
I'm going to call my decluttering client now before it gets any later, then I will finish up my inventory.

Okay, I did my inventory, made my list, and got my cart and bag ready for the morning.
Now it's time to feed the dog and take her out, and then I will have lunch.

Good afternoon everypony!
I've been thinking about my diet and how it is impacting my health. Grateful for the various appointments coming up that will provide support. Talked with DVD about it this morning.
Then we made a plan for sorting and putting the ornaments away.
Last night we set up a sorting table, sorting boxes, and brought stuff in from the porch, my organizing supplies, and boxes. The living room is now a giant work zone. I told him I need an hour to pull myself together. I'm feeling a bit better today. Yesterday was recovery from the day before, so more resting than anything else.
Kitty looking around in my office and I am imagining him saying "this is ridiculous, there are no open surfaces for even me to walk on."
I have caffeinated and taken my supplements, now back to my regular wake up routine.

Good afternoon scholar! I don't envy you putting all the Christmas stuff away, but at least you have a work area set up, and help. And a kitty supervisor.
I guess I placed my Walmart early enough that it will come today, part of it already did. They often break it up into more than one delivery if it's coming from a store--maybe out of stock at one store so it has to come from another. I'm not sure how that's financially advantageous for them, but it obviously works or they wouldn't do it.
I now have to make sure I have everything that needs to be mailed ready to take with me tomorrow, and that includes a trading book to package up, so I will do that now. I also have a couple of military letters to write, I'll at least get a start on those before I have to take the dog out again at 4.

Almost time for me to start getting ready for bed. I got all my mail ready, I'm ready for my shopping trip, and after that I'll be able to stay home for the next few days. Looking at the weather forecasts, I think our area will only get a couple of inches of snow on Tuesday, although areas north of me might get a lot. They're not really talking about the next system which comes here next weekend, along with really cold weather.
Good night everyone, see you tomorrow!

Hi Everyone ! I think everyone who has posted has done more than I have today. I did do the dailies and I was able to drive to Mass this morning. Carolyn is recovering from a fall. She didn't break anything , but was x-rayed, etc. She has a lot of pain. So I drove today. I did take out the recycling to the curb, but have done almost nothing else, except the daily things ( cat pans, trash emptying, etc.). My legs are not great and I am mostly resting. Hopefully tomorrow, I will be back into action.
My best to all. catcats

Saturday Took my bp Put away hand washed stuff from drainboard Did some meal planning Copied Moms new Medicare PDP ins plan card Picked up antibiotic RX for Mom Visited DMom. She’s been more sleepy than usual & a sty in one of her eyes. The warm compresses have already improved it. Cooked dinner Mom’s probiotic just arrived Took them to her care home Did back exercises including crunches & planks Also did some push-ups& triceps dips That wore me out. It’s been months since I’ve done them-maybe a year? Can’t remember.
Sunday Took bp. Too high. Started back on bp meds 3 loads of laundry done Put 2 bottles & 1 cab into recycle bag Finished planning meals thru next Monday. Placed grocery order Mom is sick. We think it’s reaction to the antibiotic. Threw up 3 times. Very sleepy & week. Question of ER came up. ER’s are so backed up right now! Phone calls with DrBro & texts. Texts with nurse at moms home. Bought a med at Walgreens & took 2 of my Zofran to her home in case they need it. Pharmacy is closed. Visited with Mom. She was really sleepy. But still smiled when awake. I said “I love you” & she said “I love you, too”. That was huge! DH bought some Gatorade for her. Mom ate some matza ball soup & drank a little Gatorade. Hopefully she’ll keep it down & start feeling better. No fever. Her heart rate is high. They have a med for her that they veil start back tomorrow if she’s keeping food down. PA will see her tomorrow. Went to grocery store for things that are not able to fill in the grocery order. Went to other grocery store to pick up order. Put all groceries away Cooked late dinner Dieted successfully- 2nd day Drank at least 32 oz water Emptied back bathroom trash & replaced bags 2 bags of trash taken to outside can Folded laundry & put away
