Today I removed all but 2 things I store in the oven so that when I bake or roast something, I won't have to remove many pans and pile them onto the stove top until I am finished and the oven cools down. These 2 items fit well and will not be a problem.

Yay catcats, I know that's been on your list for a while. I remember when I was a child my mom kept all the pans in the oven and we would have to drag them all out to bake. We didn't have many cupboards in the kitchen so it made sense, but it was a pain.
Hello daisy, welcome! You have a lot of good goals--you can start with baby steps so you don't get discouraged--like, maybe pick the item from your "routine" goals that is most important to you and work on that one first. And your urgent goals, of course. Keep posting to let us know how you're doing!
I think the next thing I'm going to work on is purging old food, I don't want to let this goal carry over to next month.

Yes! I have a JOT (Just One Thing) caveat. On hectic or just too tired days, if I get the most important thing of the day done, I call it a success!

Happy Spring! I need to do about 3xs in a day what I have been but until I can clone myself don't think that is happening. I kind of fell off the list this past couple weeks working on a big project of moving my milk area closer to mygoat pen so I didn't have to walk the girls anywhere. That is done but now I'm going crazy getting tomatoes and things potted up for our annual plant sale in April. The issue being I get a bottle neck because it's not really warm enough to move them out of the house but I'm out of space. So I made an area that I hope will not freeze...But I'm going to outgrow that space quickly too. We've been hovering about 36F in the mornings. So far so good. And then crazy me bought some new chicks thinking I'd have time to get the outdoor brooder situated before they outgrow the indoor space... so some general goals for the month. Keep up daily stuff like dishes, laundry, trash 15 min tidy/clean/declutter each room once a week LR Kitchen Craft Entryway Bathroom Chickens Sort out the older hens in the breeder coop. I am torn about hatching some this spring. I recognize I don't really have the time, space or energy... I need to sort out and remove those girls that aren't really up to the breed standard and move them to the layer house. Sort out and leg band last years pullets. Pick the best ones to move to the breeder house and the rest in the layer house. BUT both of those need a good cleaning up first. So maybe push the old breeders into one section and close it off and put all of the pulltst in the other until fall. Yes I think that's the best plan at the moment. Sort out the boys from last year and pick a couple keepers. Process the rest of them for the freezer. Once the pullets are moved, clean out their coop to put the indoor chicks in. (it's the only safe place I can get an extention cord to for their heater) Goats Muck out the kidding stall for early April kidding Garden Plant potatoes continue to plant seeds indoors and keep potting up the ones that are ready Weeding, mulching, watering Business Check with man about fixing the well pump End of month file sales tax Buy city biz license for this year Mom's estate Bank; did they order new checks? lady didn't really answer me the other day and never called me back about some paperwork they want Sort bank statements Make an accounting to go out with checks I will disburse later Call resale shop and get printouts of items sold (owner gave me checks but no printout) whew. looks overwhelming and impossible.

Update: I put 2 bags of trash out last week (one big bag, one small bag) just a tiny amount less than my goal, but the week before I had over achieved, and I started back to work last week, so I'll give myself a break. Today I put out a bag of stuff to recycle and a cardboard box filled with old magazines, catalogs and junk mail, most of it was YEARS old. Started a new box for paper to be recycled for 2 weeks from now. Today, I went through a plastic storage bin that DH or DD must have filled up 20 years ago. Was able to throw most of the contents out. (found a dollar, and an old floppy disk.) I have a box of books to be donated/recycled. Most are outdated. I need to start a second box, because the first is overflowing. I'm going to keep working on this. I may have more clothes/textiles to discard or donate. I have some old children's toys to donate, but they need to be cleaned first.

Monthly challange here will be to get more yard work done. DH has cut back a runner from a tree that started right next to the wall its about 2 feet tall now down from over 6 feet but needs more chopping We have a few boxes that have to be gone through Paper mail has got away from us again so if i can deal with a few pieces a week it might encourage me to go futher with it I need to use up some essential oils and i tried putting a drop in the toilet and its really nice, so continue with that habit if i can All the kitchen cupboards need to be gone through, i already did the pantry and one cupboard to get started with that project My surrounding bed area has turned into a catch all, we had no bedside tables so it ends up on the floor, i could make that better with some organizing.

Wow def6 you are rocking! Yesterday was a bit of a struggle timewise; worked PT job, then went to feed store to order hay, stopped at a store for special tomato seeds because if I saved some I can't find them. Then had to clean up the driveway for the hay delivery. Got sidetracked in the evening potting up tomato seedlings and reseeding. I was soooo bad I didn't even do the dishes, just went to bed. Today may not be much better with a bank appt and possible delivery. Keep up daily stuff like dishes , laundry, trash **Got the trash out yesterday in time for pick up but didn't wash dishes... 15 min tidy/clean/declutter each room once a week LR Kitchen Craft Entryway Bathroom Chickens Sort out the older hens in the breeder coop. Thursdays are trash days for me, so this is when I try to update my achievements/goals.
I got one large trash bag, and one kitchen size trash bag out, which is less than my goal, but I am not beating myself up over that. What I got out was better than nothing. I have been shredding papers most days, and emptied the shredder 3 or 4 times in the past week. I've added more paper to the "to be shredded" pile.
Since this morning I have filled up a large bag with trash and old shoes that I haven't worn in 10 years.
I would like to make a run to the thrift store sometime this month, but Keep thinking if I wait another few days, I'll have more and can save myself a trip.
I went plogging 2 days this week and, I think, one day last week picked up a small bag of trash while walking each time
My goal is to keep working at this day by day.
