Good afternoon ohblondie!
Are you shredding work stuff, cleaning up in preparation for your retirement?
I have a big pile of shredding waiting for me too--that's actually a good thing to do when the handyman is here since the shredder is on the first floor and I can keep track of what's going on.
It's time for lunch but first I'm going to go out and work in the yard for 20 minutes. I don't know how cold it is, but I'll give it a try.

The temperature outside was fine, I stayed out for half an hour until my back started hurting.
After lunch I would like to go out again, but I think my shopping friend is planning to call soon.

hi all Can't believe it is already Good Friday. this Holy Week unfortunately has passed me by -- coming home from my trip I was just so busy with work and catch up that time flew by. I do plan to go to church tonight. I think I am finally over jet lag! i slept pretty much through the night and got to work on time. I had a headache like I was hungover though but I had no alcohol! yesterday work was tough. I had to lead a very stressful meeting on a big project that I have mentioned that has another department trying to derail. At the meeting the tension was thick, people were not speaking ...I just said we'd discuss some stuff offline and ended the meeting early. after work I walked puppy, and set the timer for 40 minutes. mostly did minor pick up and went through all the vacation mail and organized some bills due this pay period. today I had three hours of meetings ugh. from 9-12. all with chaos. I had a headache again. worked from home in the afternoon (this is work from home day for me but an in person meeting was called at 9 am). puppy's daycare gave her a special chick biscuit! I just made a phone call to straighten out a bill. think I was successful. now I will get another important bill ready for payment, drop it off, go to the ATM for money for the lawn guy, buy some cat food, pick up puppy, and get to the Good Friday service. Lent has officially ended in my church (I think it ends on Holy Thursday) but I still have my lenten challenge to finish up so I need to find 15 clothing-related donations. This could be easy as I have a contingent of clothes that do not fit, but they are so nice and pretty, I am not yet losing hope! So I will resolutely find something with the goal of finishing it on Holy Saturday. catcats I have been thinking of your little DGGD (dear great grand daughter) and praying all is well.

Good afternoon bree and catcats!
Wonderful news about the test, catcats! A big relief, I'm sure.
My shopping friend did call after lunch, and then I went out to the yard again for another half hour. I can only spend about 10 minutes at a time on the ground, then I get up and do something standing or seated, then 10 more minutes on the ground. I started weeding/cleaning at one end of one of the long side patches--it's about 4 feet deep and I cleaned 1 foot of dirt, so only an area 4x1 foot. At this rate it will take forever...but I will keep going out as long as the weather permits. The forecast for the next 6 days have rain drops showing every day, but I'm sure that's not all day long--and it's easier to weed after rain, so I will keep working out there. The fact that the drill bit will work for stakes has made me more optimistic for the garden this year so that gives me motivation.
Time for only one more list before dinner.
Next:
10 minutes on seedlings Wash some dishes Put away Amazon and Target orders that came yesterday Delete 10 hard emails

good afternoon everypony!
hi oust ! glad you can park your car in one spot. I am not missing driving at the momen. nice to catch up with you, bree yay for days off soon, Diane
the kitty is bugging me but its not time for food, I guess hope springs eternal? I've been reading the "animals with buttons" subreddit, and learning the benefits of teaching "all done." I saw a bunny using that button when she was done playing outside and plopped down for a nap.
The Master Gardener Class meeting was quite successful. I made a couple new contacts. They were impressed with how much prep we did. But now to put everything away.
I slept in this morning and then we went to the gym for the first time. that was a big win actually. DVD is at the Costco with his BFF. I have a video appt with my nutritionist in an hour.
ALSO DONE: updated log checked online balance checked email checked calendar checked if automatic bills were set up paid one bill due today updated challenges
NEXT UP: print out latest log page gather relevant paperwork/notebook set up a spot to have appt kitchening to prep for a big grocery shop that it on its way home
