Hi everybody! *waves* (Tried to use new waving smiley, but switched skins & my smiley switched to a kiss! I love you guys, but...well. Never mind. )
TaDas: * Got up. Reluctantly.
* Worked today's shift!
* Threw away 2 pop cans & 2 pieces of paper
* Fixed breakfast
* Portioned out meds for the week
* Took meds
* Drank a glass of water
* Ate breakfast
* Threw breakfast trash away
* Made car payment over the phone
* Made phone call I didn't want to make - glad to get it out of the way!
* Got some much needed rest!
* Woke up & fixed dinner
* Fed & watered cats
* Ate dinner
* Cleaned up after self from dinner
* Wrote a letter that I may never send - it made me cry, but it really helped to get my feelings out on paper.
Everybody is doing great today!
* Did some reading
* Fixed snack
* Ate snack
* Fixed begging Kitty a small snack OK. I admit it. She's spoiled.
* Gathered up all household trash & carried out to garbage cart
* Gathered up recycling & put in car to take to recycling place
* Put new liners in cans
* OCD triumph! Washed hands with soap & hot water and then washed a pan that can't be put in the dishwasher! I would not normally do this, as I normally feel my hands are 'contaminated' after handling trash. Go me!
* Rinsed a few things in the sink & put them in the dishwasher
* Wiped down kitchen counters & cleaned sink
* Started dishwasher
* Brushed teeth
* Drank a glass of water
Whew! The thought of just coming back & sharing all this with you all really helped me keep going! Pretty cool!
* Internet time
* Off to bed - nite everybody!

First off, congrats on the tadas, Rose. Well done! Secondly, let me clue you in on what is happening with that waving smiley. Smilies shown above your message can change with the skin you are using. I'm trying to standardize them right now. Fortunately, all the smilies in the box (to the left as you type your message) are identical in all skins and don't have to be installed in each skin separately like the others. It saves time and headaches. I hope to resolve the smiling/kissing smiley soon. We love you, too.

:)Hi y'all! What a vibrant thread, today! Everyone is getting lots done. Tadas only: 1:07pm took DS to school made my bed went to Sam's Club spoke with A/C repair guy put all the stuff from Sam's Club away dressed2shoes including contacts, hair, teeth, perfume, lipstick picked up poop from back yard A/C repair man came...showed him path to outdoor part...warned him of holes from dog's digging...don't want him to get hurt. I've had him for many years now, so although embarrassed by my home, I let him come on in anyway, cause it's too Dang hot in here... He was here for about 2 hours! Cooling down now, let's hope that the freezing up stops! DH & DS spent part of the day on Saturday repairing some stuff that they could do themselves, but Harry did the rest. paid Harry training with puppy folded load of laundry went thru groc. sized bag--all of it either recycle bag & some tossed swiped between toilet seat & back of toilet in front bathroom 7:28pm picked up DS from school brought him home, then picked up DD from school--she called a little bit after I got home with DS and she was ready to be picked up over an hour early today. took van thru inspection went to Kroger's for groceries...the stuff I couldn't or didn't get at Sam's Club got DS to bring it all in got DD to put it all away earlier I made meal plans for the next 2 weeks...well, just the main course for dinners. 12:45am fixed dinner put left overs away took some old stuff out of refrigerator...like old salad dressings... put folded load of laundry away put another load of laundry in the washer put hand-washed stuff from drainboard away unloaded dishwasher emptied kitchen trash, sprayed can & replaced bag swept a tad in kitchen got dirty clothes off back bathroom floor into clothes hamper put 4 or 5 bottles/jars into recycle bag put 4 empty boxes into garage for recycling took nap Happy that my parents arrived safely at home this evening. They went to see my nephew graduate from high school. My Dad is very tired. That last bout at the hospital seems to really have taken a lot out of him. Happy that my Father-N-Law is back home & his heart is okay. He went to the hospital this morning for a Heart Cath. He was just out of the hospital last week... Something is wrong with his colon, but I don't have the details yet... something about "his colon is dying...".(?) Good night y'all... (or morning, as the case may be...) CD

I am so proud of myself! I DID PAPERWORK TODAY!
Actually I procrastinated as long as I could. Did other things. Watered plants. Housework. Did some weeding. Anything to avoid those papers!
But I am almost done. What a relief it will be to have those papers sent off.
Of course there will always be more.
One thing at a time ... or one pile of papers at a time.
Why the procrastination? It wasn't all that bad, after all? Why try to avoid the unavoidable? Advice, anybody??
