Morning Rosebud! Hope you're having a good day.
I have an unexpected day off work so want to make use of it.
*Woke up at 4am with ds6 having a mild asthma attack *Gave meds, sat and calmed him. Got him back to sleep at about 5.30am on the sofa. *Dozed off with him (not strictly an achievement but I needed the extra 40 winks) *Woke again slightly later than normal. *Made coffee. *Opened kitchen windows. *Woke ds12 and dd7 and made breakfast for them. *Phoned boss and asked to stay home for son. He was lovely about it. *Found and packed football kit for dd7s after school coaching. *Got kids to school minus ds6 who is having a recovery day as he is exhausted. *Phoned childcare and cancelled for afterschool today as son home and daughter at football. *Had a quick look around the back lane for neighbours pet rabbit that escaped during the night. No luck. *Put out a bowl of carrots and greens in case said rabbit decides to pop back for a snack and I can get him back into his hutch for the neighbours. *Fed cat. *Gave meds again to ds6
Still to start: *Put some more laundry in the washer. -Put all the clean laundry away. Especially the clothes on the sofa as nobody has sat there for 1 month because of it! *Sort out remaining laundry so I know roughly how many washes it will take to get down to just 1 laundry basket. *Prepared dinner with dd7. It's cooking now, yum! *Strip daughters bed. *Picked up dd7 from football practice. -Tidy and vacuum hallway. -Vacuum living room/kitchen. -Vacuum ds6 room. *Move boxed games from ds6 room to ds12 room where they belong, freeing up shelf space. *Sort through huge piles of kids books in dd7 room so I can put them on shelves in correct kids rooms. (dreading this one) #Put said books on correct shelves. -Put away/sort random boxes in my room and put important things in my underbed drawers which are currently empty. -Phone school to sort out current lunch payment problem. -Take out rubbish to wheelie bin. *Wash few remaining dishes. -Try and clear kitchen table so we can eat there tonight.
Think that's enough for now. Feeling a bit overwhelmed already. ::)Gonna have a go and see what I can get done though.
Good luck everybody on your tasks today.
xxxEdit: well done everyone! I've still got mountains to do but I've got more motivation than usual after popping in and out of chat most the day! Thanks Diamondgal and Djollydjolan, you've kept me sane and focused!

I also awoke at an early hour and have been up since. Actually I did start to dose off, but was jolted back awake by a loud noise and have been up ever since. The nice thing is that I have been listening to the birds sing since about 4 am. But I expect I'll be tired tonight. Brother may be leaving today. He began talking about that yesterday afternoon. He was only going to stay a week and it has been about 10 days, but it feels like only a few. I will miss him and it seems like he wasn't here long enough. I don't know if he's going to leave today, but it's likely and I'll be gone most of the day so I'll miss his going if he does leave. eagle's Tuesday- morning wake-up routine (face, eyes, teeth, hair)
- coffee made
- paid 2 bills
- mopped tile flooring (kitchen & continuous connected floors)
- dishes (frying pan from last night's dinner)
- 40 minutes physical exercise
- laundry: one load done
-
To Doshower & hair dress & go to restaurant physical exercise tidy a room banking

Hello everybody.
Everyone's really moving! I guess its my turn...
Tadas: 11:30am *made my bed *took kids to schools *took puppy ***Walked/jogged (mostly walked) over 2 miles around beautiful lake with lots of ducks, geese, ducklings (at different stages...from so tiny, fuzzy...). 30 minutes. *moved load of laundry into dryer *ate Lean Cuisine meal *drank 3 glasses of water *spoke with DH-- His Dad is back at GI doctor's this morning due to having pressure or something like that... *spoke with my Dad--He sounded tired. He told me that my brother's parrot bit him when he stuck his hand/arm in the cage hoping the parrot would let him hold 'em. My brother (who is ER doctor treated him, but he still had to go get a Tetanus shot before they left town to travel back home on Sunday). He also told me that he got pretty sunburned when they went to watch the Shuttle lift-off. Argghh. My dad...living life to the fullest!
4:15pm *showered2shoes--including teeth, hair, perfume, lipstick *picked up kids from schools *got them something to eat *came home, then left again to take DD back to her school *ate lunch *drank more water (2 glasses) *went into DD's school to speak with her counselor re: eSchool *came back home due to being tempted to go thru a drivethru...will have to be better about bringing things to do...finished book I was reading & really wanted to eat. This seems to be something that i do..."when bored, eat food"...Must change this!
7:42pm *found microwave salmon recipe...hope its good *picked up DD from school *picked up puppy *went to 2 stores to buy Marsala wine or Sherry...can only get the cooking type around here. Not willing to drive a ways nor do I have the time, so hope recipe will still be good *called head of the Boot Camp that I am considering participating in...told him that I am 50 pounds overweight & am no spring chicken. He said that his focus is just on getting people in better condition. So, I may go to the testing verra early tomorrow morning... *cooked dinner *put load of laundry in washer *got dishes soakiing *1 swipe in back bathroom *took bag of trash to outside can *took 2 bags of recyclables to outside can *got DD to feed puppy & administer Frontline to both dogs *drank more water
10:44pm *fed DAngelDog *folded/hung load of laundry *put that load away *moved load into dryer *put another load in the washer *got DD to re-fill ice cube tray *got DD to put left-overs away *got DS to rinse out some bottles *washed all dishes, pots, etc. except for 1 pot & 1 casserole dish that are being left to soak. *re-packaged some of the meats that I had bought the other day into smaller packages & froze them.
Going to bed at an earlier time tonight...11pm CD :]

Update Tuesday evening, soon 09:00 pm:
Too hot to do much work during the day. So I will wait till it cools off a bit and then I will work some more on those papers. Same way I did yesterday. It was quite successful then.
Norwegian summer nights ... too wonderful to sleep away ...
With regards to my NOT to do list: Doing well with that. Practically no shopping. Not because I did not want to, but because I must have somehow hurt my foot and it is painful to walk. A blessing in disguise ...
