Hi All!
I finally took the time to mosey on over here.
Good to see so many people!
I'll post an update elsewhere, since I haven't posted in at least a few weeks or a month.
Anyhow
TaDa
* Took out bag of trash at lunch * Was honest about a project I forgot * Cat boxes were emptied and cleaned yesterday.
BONUS: I saw my landlord and apartment fix-it guy in the parking lot and was actually able not to run & hide!!!

Welcome to WIT, Dragonchilde and Molly, and a fond welcome back to NMF! Well, I have some TADAs but I have a big OH NO!, too. TADAs: 1. ran errands 2. partially decluttered car 3. took armloads of t-shirts for possible camp crafts activity OUT of my shopping cart before buying them OH NO! broke down and ran off to my favorite thrift store for its Wed. specials. (Avoiding paperwork once again.) Got some stuff which will be useful for crafts project. BUT -- I kept two bags of fabric scraps which ended up in my shopping cart -- so I am adding, not subtracting, from the sheer volume of stuff I will have in storage. The fabric, of course, was a great bargain. It appears that someone either died or else massively decluttered -- a lot of Christmas prints and panels and sizeable bits of yardage. I am intermittently working on Christmas yo-yos. So I should use it all -- eventually. And I did go through the bags to separate out what I actually might use from stuff I know I will never use. I gave the rejects back to the people at the thrift shop. However, I am somewhat disappointed in myself for falling into the buying-because-it-is-such-a-great-deal-and-I-will-use-it-eventually syndrome. (Although I got probably at least $125 worth of fabric for $2.99.) I am also a bit disgruntled at myself for the avoidant behavior. So I need to do my TODOs: 1. One timed twenty minute period in study 2. Another timed twenty minute period in study 3. A third timed twenty minute period in study. Wishing you all well, and reminding you all to do what I say, not what I do -- WestsideStory

:-*Drangonchilde and Molly congratulations on your first posts thats a tada too, WTG! Welcome. Glad you're back mnf, how great that you didn't have to run and hide. I can't wait to be at that stage!! Westsidestory, don't be too hard on yourself. ( while reading about the fabric and your long explanations, I was right there with you. I do that all the time!) The fact that you're aware of your behavior is important so good for you. Progress not perfection. good luck on your paperwork! tadas -napped (have horrible cramps) -got mom hooked up to PT machine again (she has to be on it 6 hrs a day, poor thing) -picked up after my mom todos -take it slow today or else I won't be able to help my mom -empty dishwasher -eat *bonus* water outside plants best artsy

-take it slow today or else I won't be able to help my mom That should be the first thing on your list everyday! Ta dah * Went through Freecycle stuff and posted it * Put item on Buy and sell * Went through Ebay stuff and plan to pick up envelopes tomorrow * Tried to get an old laptop that I was going to donate to work. After 3 hours, I finally decided that it wasn't fixable without putting a lot of time into it and was so old that I probably wouldn't be able to find parts. Decided (very reluctantly) to throw it and the supporting hardware/software/instruction books out. To do * Bring laptop and associated stuff down to trash can * Bring trash down while I'm at it * Clean up all the stuff that I was using
