Hi Wantinmore,
Good work on the laundry. That folding business is something where I often slack off.
Tada: 1001 errands this morning, including a dreaded bill. Yard patrol inspite of the rain. Took out some garbage.
TODO Get out of the oh-so-comfy computer chair Attack the kitchen - this is a multi-step process: Throw out more garbage Wash the dishes Wipe down the counters Sweep and mop the floor Dry and put away dishes Cope with the mail on the kitchen table Read the news papers on the kitchen table Clean the kitchen table AND I CAN'T COME BACK TO THE CHAIR UNTIL ITS DONE. I PROMISED MYSELF.

Slight change of To Dos for me. Ta da: - decluttered computer desktop (over 150 documents there, over 2 GB of stuff thrown away and maybe 10-15 useful items moved to the appropriate folders). It was really slowing my computer down, I couldn't find anything, even my hard drive icon was completely hidden. Glad that's done! To do: - empty dishwasher - reload dishwasher - get dressed

Great job on the computer, hypatia! Sometimes even "virtual clutter" needs to be taken care of.
TaDa: - Sheets dried, folded & put away - Laundry Load (LL) #1 washed and in dryer - Spent 20+ minutes desqualoring my computer "nook" and can now see carpet and sit at the desk! Some things are in piles and have yet to be put away... but HUGE improvement - Ate lunch, dishes in dishwasher - Had a lovely chat with stressedbythemess - LL #2 in washer, cleared top of dryer (which was covered in clothing and other items) - Brushed both felines with Furminator, much to their delight; disposed of loosened fur
ToDo: - Shower & dress (yeah... workin in my PJs... but still workin!) - Drink water - Prepare to teach Jazzercise Lite class this afternoon & hopefully take out trash on the way.
Madtiger, I'll bet that chair will feel even more comfy and wonderful after you get that ToDo list done. You can do it!

Threeg, WTG on all those errands and TADAs. Teachergrl, you're making great progress. Hypatia, great job on the desktop; hope your headache is vanquished by now. MadTiger, I admire your fortitude. 1001 errands -and- going outside in the rain to do yard patrol and garbage. Wow!
TADAs: 1. Did a big chunk of the dreaded paperwork. It's printed off, ready to photocopy and mail. 2. Emptied half of dishwasher while waiting for lunch to microwave. 3. Put paperwork part of desk in partial order -- stuff I worked on is in file folders; drafts in recycling. You can see some wood (wood without dust, BTW!) underneath.
TODOs: 1. Dress (I'm with you, teachergrl, these old scrubs/jammies were too comfortable to take off) 2. Go photocopy/mail/RadioShack/banks *bonus* exercise break 3. Come back home and look through papers to find missing info I need to bring to sister
Keep up the awesome work!

Bluefrog, I'm sure that your lovely quilt will be appreciated. You're entitled to at least one TADA per seam you checked! That really must have taken a long time. Lots of seams in that pattern.
Artsy, glad you got some quality bookstore time; enjoy your powernap.

TODOs: 1. One load of laundry 2. Go to storage unit to organize stuff to bring for crafts project 3. Pack up CDs for nephew.
Hope you all have great evenings/nights/mornings!

Here I am, tiptoeing into the thread at bedtime again. Well, bedtime for me. Sounds like you all have done great today! I ended up spending most of the day outside running around with my kids. But I still got a few things done. Tada's 1)Trash out 2)put away a bunch of laundry 3)Paid a bill that was about to be late bonus: Started asking around my small town where/how a 44 year old woman can learn how to drive. Every day of my adult life has been affected by my driving phobia, and I've reached the level of frustration that I'm ready to try confronting it again. My hubby is not the person to teach me for a number of reasons, and he's working too much anyhow. I want to shift lots of clutter out of here, and not driving is standing in my way. I have to plead my case for a trip to the thrift shop to drop things off, and I'm sick of it. The things I put in the van last week for him to drop off there are still in the van. And if he needs the space in the van for something else, he'll dump that stuff right back in the house. Grrr. I neeeed to be able to drive! We had some big storms last night, but the roof didn't leak over Mt. St. Clutter in the upstairs closet, thank god. I'm not ready to face that one for a while. First, the visible clutter... Hopefully the rainy weather will let up long enough for a roofer to get up on our steep roof and repair the hole. I was up most of the night last night, because of the weather. Tonight I'll try for a full night's sleep. To do's for morning: Unload/reload dishwasher More laundry scoop out kitty box Hoping to show up a lot earlier tomorrow and participate more, g'nite!
