I have had this issue since I was a kid, but only recently did I get diagnosed with ADHD, which apparently is correlated with this syndrome.....I have bought more and more buildings to house my cars, motorcycles, clothes and everything else, and I just can't take it anymore, I want a simpler, cleaner life without having to spend money to store and organize stuff...my house is a wreck, and I'm embarassed to have anyone see it....
My seven year old little girl came over and sat me down to tell me this is a problem for her to come over to a messy house - then I knew I had to do something, if not for me, but for her....I would never want her to feel uncomfortable in my house.....I feel so guilty now....

What a caring, sweet little angel you have for a daughter! I just wanted to comment that you really are worthy enough to clean for yourself, not just for others. Combat the squalor because you want to do it for yourself and feel you deserve good things to happen to you in your life. Once you do that, everything else (the positive things) will fall into line. Welcome to the forum! Little_Ninja
