I'm an SS child who has adopted habits. My house has had it's share of nasties. When I'm happy and healthy, my house is fairly tidy. Actually, over the years, I've progressed. My place has been stage 3, carefully hidden, or ignored.
Oddly enough, I used to be a "clean freak". On the surface, my place is tidy, to visitors. My stacks have been neatly arranged on a spare table, brought in to hold stacks. My bedroom is a mess, but the bed is made. I spend extra time cleaning, when I know the pest guy is coming.
I started school and I cannot function, like this. I can't find anything. Currently cleaning out closets, drawers, etc. My piles? 10 years, 5 years and 1 year. I'm throwing out stuff from '97 to '03.

Hi Chunkalot Well done on having coming so far already!! I'll look out for you posting how you're doing with those stacks and your bedroom so I can celebrate your achievements with you. DiamondGal.

Hi Chunkalot
the frustration of not being able to find things is one of the main motivators for me to think about working on the mess, well done for throwing out that old stuff.
