1. Itty bitty fireplace 2. The Chair 3. cleaned up the bathroom sink area so it is back to 0 degree 4. cleaned the clock and wall to left of bathroom sink so it is 0 degree (I had to use soap, water and nylon scouring pad to get the dust off the clock - ewwwww) and the wall behind the clock and above it had to be scrubbed the same way. Well, it's good now Not finished yet.

Started straigheneing and refilling my daughter's bottled drink cupboard and started having a flashback again. I had to stop and call several different prayer lines to get passed enough to go back and finish that itty bitty job. I wonder what it is about that particular job that has caused two serious flashback events? Who knows? Anyway - the drink cupboard is done. That only leaves the work table.

Ivorytower I PMed you about this, but I just want to appologize - I completely didn't see your post until I saw Lioness' reply to you. So here is my reply to BOTH your posts: I wasn't expecting replies Still, so no need to apologise for anything. This thread is a great source of encouragement just by being here. Listing the 0 degrees instead of only seeing what needs to be done acts as a reminder to maintain those areas so each new thing added is real progress.

Hi All, I did not have alot of time off this weekend, Sunday only as a fact, but I was inspired by this thread, worked my tail off on Sunday and now have the living room floor at a zero (please note I say floor as the bookcase and one couch are still in training) and the dining room table! I resonate with Yellowhouse when she says an empty place is a place to start dumping..sigh. But you all are doing fantastic! I am impressed with ANYONE who can get an entire kitchen to a zero...

I hope to have it back to 0 degree in awhile, but I don't know whether I will get it finished today or not, so I will post what I have now. octopuses are mermaids' housepets

1. itty bitty fireplace 2. daughter's bottled drink cupboard 3. The Chair 4. bathroom sink area 5. wall to left of bathroom sink and stuff on it 6. work table I learned two things today: 1. Keeping the bathroom sink area at 0 degrees is gettting annoying. For some reason it accumulates dust very quickly, and with the mirror and the chrome, it gets smudged easily. And how does toothpaste flick all over the place like that?!!! It first it was fun getting it clean and then keeping it that way, but the last couple of days I am find that I am really resenting that it can't stay spotless for more that 24 hours. It is fun HAVING it clean, but I widh it would stay that way for a while!!!! 2. I still had stuff on the work table from working on the bookcase yesterday. They were things I either needed to do some sorting on or I wasn't sure I wanted them back in the bookcase. I almost didn't do anything with them, thinking I would leave them where they are until I can get to them. The more I looked at them the more I realized that it wouldn't be that hard to just put them back. Everything would still look better than it did and I could claim the work table again. It was then I realized that mentality of leaving things where they are until I can get to them is probably the root cause of my clutter problem. I don't know if it is part of the squalor problem - I think that might be something different, though it obviously contributes. Time and experience will tell. Anyway - I got all 6 areas of 0 degree back to 0 degree today. octopuses decorate with seashells
