And I am not hating it.  Could it be that my perspective is changing? I think it has to do with having my first veggie garden. It looks so nice that I actually wanted the rest of the yard to keep looking nice too, so I have been maintaining the yard pretty well for the first time in years. But today was the first time I ever noticed that it wasn't feeling like drudgery... I was actually so focused on cutting the brush on the fence line, and admiring my own progress that I wasn't thinking "Good God when will I be done with this chore???"  I still have some more to do today, but it is 3:30pm, about the worst time for afternoon heat, so I am taking a break until 6. In other news.... I have been doing dishes regularly and keeping the fridge and stove top clean. I still need to get at least 2 more bags of stuff out of the storage room before the day is done. |

Thanks y'all. I finished the backyard, but was too tired to work on the storage room. That will have to wait for another day.
