This is as basic as cleanup gets. I have an older dog who ate something yesterday that bothered her, I guess. She is well housebroken, thank God. She went outside this morning and had a major bathroom incident which happens to overlap both a concrete floor and a tarp. When I did my usual poop patrol, I mistakenly smeared it trying to scoop it up into the special container.
My usual move would be to throw some flour on it, because it's cheap and would soak up the mess and when it's baked dry by the sun, I can scrape it off with the large scooper. But unfortunately, I already made it worse and ran out of flour anyway.
What is the easiest way to handle this? I can't really use a hose, it would splash and make a mess over some stuff I have stored nearby. Should I move it ALL aside and try to use a hose anyway? Concrete is harder to clean than I ever expected. It has many holes in it which seem to trap dirt and debris.

Can you use a spray bottle, soak the area and then lay something down on it that would soak everything up? :/ If that doesn't work, is there some way you could shield the nearby items in order to use your hose? Good luck.

I feel foolish but I had not thought to do that, use a very local application of cleaner. I just went outside and laid down a few layers of paper towel and poured some floor cleaner on it. It's already dissolving the problem. I have a fear of contacting dirt so I have plenty of rubber gloves around to take away the paper towels in a while.
