I missed when you first posted but would love to join in. So far today I have gotten rid of 2 trash bags. Have 4 bags of donations in the car that will be gone on Monday. Next thing I need to work on is my clothes.

Fed the cat and dog and put frontline on them and gave them their heartworm pills. On time. watered the front flower beds watered the back flower beds hand watered a zillion potted plants that should have been in the side beds a year ago. found the string for the weed eater- that took a while- Put new string on the weed eater and put string back in shed- I think in a place I can find it. Put the weed eater back in shed cause too hot to weed eat Put some leftover food in containers and stuck them the freezer Picked up all the food that fell out of the freezer when I crammed the containers in. Cleaned out the freezer and threw stuff away and put the good stuff back. Cleaned out the backseat of the car ( my car is like a purse on wheels) Picked up dishes from around the house, rinsed them and stacked them. with all of dishes etc. from cleaning out cupboards ongoing projject did one sink of dishes and put them in drainer. Drove a neighbor around for an hour to find his car that he lost last night on a bender. Honest. Made me mad cause I got interuppted.Made him buy me In and Out burger Threw the wrpaper away. I say YEAH go for it- I will join you! I am a newbie and this is a lot for me. I am pooped

I am a newbie and this is a lot for me. I am pooped Welcome 'bizzy! You're doing great on this challenge! One of my goals this weekend is to learn how to use my new weed whacker. I've always been "afraid" of them, but I need to master this new "toy" to save time on yard work. ...Now I've got a cravin' for a cheeseburger. Little_Ninja

I guess I need to stop making these challenges, because it seems every time I do, something happens and I can't do anything on them.
Saturday morning I woke up exhausted, nauseous and had a cough. I don't know it was a bug or just exhaustion from doing too much lately.
I didn't do anything this weekend except rest. So I guess I failed at this challenge, too.
I'm feeling better today and since the ministry office is closed today, I'm working on my kitchen. I don't know how much I'll get done, but I do have the whole day to work on it.
I do apologize for making a challenge and then not being able to follow through with it.

oh rennie, don't feel like you've failed! these are FUN, surely. you can't fail at fun. also, look how you inspired people. that is an accomplishment. but I have found, generally, that declaring I will do something means I won't/can't. God laughs at people who make plans.

Puppybox, but I have found, generally, that declaring I will do something means I won't/can't. It doesn't mean that to ME. I'm trying so hard to keep my home maintained. I feel like I'm not only fighting the clutter, but my own body as well.
I know one day the time will come when I'll no longer be able to drive or go out and do things people take for granted. I'm afraid I'm going to run out of time before I become a shut-in. I want my home in order before that happens. This is my biggest fear, that it will happen while I'm still pretty young (and having a heart problem is proof that it's already starting to happen). This is what haunts me.

well, people are different. you have a focused goal in mind and have been steadily working towards it, whereas I have a vague, fluctuating goal. though I too have been steadily working towards it, at a 2 steps forward 1 step back kind of pace.
what I really meant to convey was- when i find myself talking about something/making lists of it, I'm not actually doing it. If I was really going to do something I would just be doing it. So now when I find myself talking a lot and making really long lists of todos I know this is a indication that I am tired/emotional and probably won't get much done. so i stop myself from making promises to myself that I know i will break and then feel disappointed in myself about. because that just makes me feel worse and i'm even less likely to accoumplish stuff.
