A few more things. I'm not being as productive as I hoped, but I'm still moving...
Ta dah * Library run * Grocery list for picnic * Made a list of the big house projects I have. They are big projects, but by listing them I can see it's not an endless list.
I'm going to need to clear out some storage space to put things that are currently out, but I don't need right now. I'll fill that space with stuff I need and use now. But clearing out stuff hidden in drawers makes things look worse. Hmm, I'll have to see if I can come up with a neater way of doing it.

Glad you're on a roll, creativechaos. WTG! And glad you could relax and enjoy your Mom's birthday without panicking about packing, Artsygal. Other house, wantinmore??? Did I miss something when I was gone?
Been sidetracked by phone calls and mail and stuff.
TADAs: 1. Dealt with some church business -- e-mail and phone calls 2. Dealt with e-mail regarding friend who is job-hunting 3. Halfway through going through non-urgent mail and bills which came in while I was gone 4. Put recipes which I had printed out near recipe binder and bookcase. 5. Emails re: possible birthday events for friend
TODOs: 1. Lunch 2. Laundry 3. Exercise *bonus* banking, then library, art and visiting friend

A few quickies- but they still count!
Ta dah * Put another stack of books in the Freecycle pile * Organized my library books into stacks by topic * Finished a 6 month long project- getting new batteries for my 4 smoke alarms. I had one down five months ago, and another done last month, but the final 2 were troublesome.

A lot is getting accomplished in WIT's today!! Great job!! WTG on getting your project completed Syzygy! I bet it felt wonderful to cross it off your list.
No, Westside...you didn't miss anything...I've just never been comfortable enough to "explain" what's going on. Then I realized WHO CARES!! I have been maintaining for months now and I owe so much of it to Squalor Survivors and SOS...if someone IRL figures out who I am I would be proud of what I have accomplished!! At any rate, my Dear X Husband is being deployed to Iraq. We both still co-own the house he is living in. Let me emphasize that we all get along really well...husband golfs with x...holidays are celebrated together.... So...we are moving into "his" house and moving out of the rental we now live in. Hubby and I stand to save about $1,800 a month so to us it is worth it. When X gets home we (hubby and myself) will be able to buy THE house that we can't afford right now. So yes...we are moving...Phew...it felt good to get that out in the open!!!
Tadas... another load over to other house rebooted laundry put some dishes in dishwasher Todos... vacuum downstairs more laundry start dinner

Remember how I finally got new batteries for the smoke alarms? Well, due to some official regulation, I have to have one outside my bathroom. I'm sure you're not surprised to hear that steam looks an awful lot like smoke to a smoke detector. I discovered this in mid-shower. That smoke detector is no longer being used.

WTG everybody! Artsy - well yay for airline refunds. I hope your mom continues to improve. Trips always do wierd things to me and cleaning, so , best of luck.
TaDas from today 1. Got my car to a level 0.25!!! Yes! really. The carpets in it are stained but it's 8 years old, there's nothing I can do about it really. I threw all the trash out, vacuumed it, shampooed 2 of the seats, and parts of the floor (hoping to get the stains out, no such luck, I may try to work on them again but that's really a low priority right now). There's nothing in the trunk but 1 box of car maintenance stuff. There's nothing of mine laying around in it. Can you tell I'm proud I got it done? (this has been on the to do list over 6 months). It still needs some maintenance and cleaning work (wipe down dashes and console again, clean the exterior, work on those stains), but i'm tackling it a piece at a time. 2. Maintained the bathroom, rug is in the laundry room to be washed again (*** cat..but at least it's only on the rugs..vs the carpet..i suppose I'll live). 3. Made *major* progress on Project M. I thought I could finish in 1-2 more sessions the last time this appeared on the todo list, but i was grossly underestimating. That said, I made so much progress i can see what it'll be when the first piece is done. Very, very happy. 4. remembered to drink some water and take some vitamins today.
ToDo 1. Take meds 2. Exercises 3. Work a little more on project M.
