....it's cold - being so close to Antarctica and all. Instead fo sitting here playing with the new site I am going to take advantage of it and make a list of a things I would like to do: -deal with the ashes from the fire -light the fire -vacuum. My new house is so easy to vacuum I can do it all with out unplugging. In my old house I could not get down the hallway with out having to change plugs.

Thanks Minni, yes it is beautiful here - even when it is cold.
WEll I did my 3 things AND I washed the kitchen floor!!!! - this is something that hardly ever happened in my old house and it is the 2nd time it has happened here. I ignored my mother's voice in my head that was saying that I can't wash the floor until the rest of the kitchen was clean. The rest of the kitchen is still in a minor mess but now the floor is clean. If I had listened to my mother the kitchen would be messy and the floor would still be dirty. I also filled the wood basket and coal bucket and took a phone call that saved me making one and means I get the morning to myself tomorrow. And I got some chicken out of the freezer and it is in the microwave defrosting for dinner.
I am feeling quite pleased with myself I have got lots of things done over the last couple of days that I wanted to do.
Today I still want to: - walk dog - make dinner - more school work - bring in washing and hang the things that aren't dry on the rack and maybe do something about the white fly on my gerbras

Thanks again Minni, what part of the world are you in, I am used to most people being asleep while I'm busy.
I have ground to a bit of a halt. I brought the washing in and thought about dinner....a bit.....and maybe I'll walk the dog with my sister after dinner, if it doesn't rain......
I am too distracted by the computer and the TV to do any school work...

Hi Razy. Such a happy thread you started... You got a lot done & it sounds like you are enjoying your new house. I can't get over how fast you found something & got your household together to move...you remind me of Wonder Woman! CD

Thank You CD - I certainly don't feel like Wonder Woman. The whole shifting experience was the longest 8 weeks of my life and I think we have more stuff still packed than we have unpacked. But our new home becoming more and more warm and cosy and we are all (animals and people) happy here.
