Hi All,
I wanted to ask some questions about the Listzilla thread. I like the thread, and have wanted to use the Listzilla tools more, but I'm finding that aside from Working in 3's, I find that when I try to utilize the other Listzilla lists (accountability partners, room of the week/month, Candos list) that I really struggle with a lot of fear and a deluge of negative self talk.
Mind you, I'd like to work up to using these one day, and I recognize it might be that I'm so new that this is a painfully restimulating tool for me (still carrying too much of my own childhood baggage about cleaning)--I'm curious, have other people struggled with this?
How did you make peace with the Listzilla tools? If you still grapple with a bunch of fear or negative self talk related to using any portion of the different lists, how do you work with that? Does it go away?

Yeah, I"m only on the Working in Threes so far. Its just where I am. Some days I feel like I can do accountability partners...but right now Working in Threes is a safe place for me. And, I tend to rarely do the three things that I planned on doing...I do three other things first. Working in threes helps more for me when I do tiny incremental steps. (check out my WIT from Thursday to see what I mean)

Yearning-I've found that using Accountability Partners helps me even when I don't get everything done. I try not to get too down on myself, but try to figure out why I didn't get something done and correct it in the future. I love the challenge of coming back to post my Ta Da's in the evening or even the next morning.
Hope you find the spot that is the most comfortable for you!

I started the Gratitude List today. Other than that, I made my own master list and update it every few days. I'm in Level 2 in most of my home, so I'm not ready for anything else. (Although the weekly/monthly focus lists look good.)

Sometime people list ZERO "to-do" items.
They just list "Ta-da!" items.
Sometimes, it's a good strategy to pat self on back!

Some of us never quite have anything more than an armed neutrality with Listzilla threads.
If they are not for you, that's okay. Some people work better in other ways than with lists, of any sort.
Do what works best for you.
