My husband was reading an article in an Archeology magazine. Two archeologists from Texas, one from Southern Methodist University the other from Texas A&M had a conference on dating the first evidence of man on the North American contintent. What was this evidence? It was crap in a cave in Oregon. I understand that there was fairly ribald conversation about this topic. I guess it can safely be said ( I should post pictures of that room I am working on) that even early man didn't clean up after themselves and if the crap sits long enough it becomes really important !

Yep! It's called coprolites! Archeologists often learn a great deal from studying such fossilized specimens and at one time they were even mined industrially for the calcium phosphate content. Ancient doo-doo! :>) As they say: You gotta go someday but you also gotta go everyday! I guess it figures that some things last forever and NO it ain't art!
