I was taking a personality test online, and it came up with this question:
63. There's a right way to do things and a wrong way to do things.
_ True _ False
"Of course it's false!" I said to myself. "You can do things any way you can." Then I got an uncomfortable feeling when I went to click that option.
My logical side says it's bollocks. My gut says "You're always doing things wrong. Do it the RIGHT way!"
It gave me pause.
I need to get rid of that gut feeling.
Maybe this will strike a chord with my fellow perfectionists here.

I guess it depends upon what you are doing. There is a right way to do brain surgery BUT desqualoring isn't brain surgery and there are many paths to a clean house.

Yep. I can relate to this. The concept of "clean enough" is just so hard for me to grasp. I end up thinking, why bother if I know I don't have time / energy to do it perfectly?
