haha.. Well, we didn't get the outside of the house cleaned up, BUT..we did get a bedroom desqualored. It was a very bad level 3 room. The floor is completely cleared. All we need to do now is shampoo the carpet (gotta rent a machine) and clear off a pretty large shelf, then it will be a 0! This room is going to be a new bedroom for two of the youngest kiddos. We have them all in one room (the cleanest bedroom of the house actually) currently with bunkbeds and a twin. The bunkbeds are going to come apart and we will put them in the newly cleaned room. Our oldest gets to keep the current room as her own. SHe's so happy to have a room to herself. So that brings us to.... Kitchen ...level 1 Bathroom...level 2 Living room ...level 0 Dining area..level 2 Bedroom 1..level 1 Bedroom 2... level 2 Bedroom 3 (untouched) ...level 3 Laundry area...level 2 Outside..ugh. I may reach my goal of 0-1 everywhere by next weekend if I keep up this pace! Wow.

Woo Hoo suchamess!! I bet the kids are thrilled and you must feel SO GOOD! OK, I'll take my inspiration from you today, as I want to make as much progress as I can in my bedroom, which is now a solid level 2. I had set a goal of getting my living room to a 0 by month's end, but sorta forgot I had the bedroom halfway done, so I'm switching my July goal to the bedroom! (If I manage to get to the living room too, that will be a bonus). Thanks for letting us in on your goals and progress, keep us posted! Carrie

Thanks for the encouragement We are moving along very nicely. Today, I checked off 10 things on my 'to-do' list. My house...smells like bleach. It smells so clean and reminds me of when I was little. Very comforting. You know, I even cleaned out the oven yesterday. It looks brand new. My husband is just in awe of things getting accomplished around here. I woke up this morning to a vacuum running. It was my oldest daughter. She didn't like the crumbs in the floor, so she decided to take action herself. I was utterly amazed. I really hope we continue on this path and do not stray. It is a struggle each and every day to keep what is clean maintained, but I'm actually beginning to enjoy cleaning. We are now one room away from being completely desqualored. I still have a few problem areas in the dining area to conquer (pictures are in the photo section). Secretly, I wanted to have everything complete before vacation next week, but I've realized our bedroom will have to wait until we return. I'm okay with that. I've set a pace that doesn't cause burnout, and that is what is important. I hope life finds you all well

suchamess, I am so proud of you for everything that you have accomplished! I hope you soon get to feel the peace of having everything desqualored and you're teaching your kids by example, too! Awesome!
