So, I have 3 days off. The first day I had to take care of some erands in the city so, I did not get much done on the house. I borrowed a large garbage trailer, I had hope to have it filled up with junk by now. I am lacking motavation right now, I really just want to get it done but I keep being distracted. I started but get distracted in another room. I found my little green machine, we mostly use it to clean up pet accidents. DS17 did not empty it between uses. I took the lid off and there was chunks in the container. the smell was overwhelming. I would just throw it out but, it cost $90.00... any Idea's and how can I clean up bad smelling things with out puking my self? The whole place is bad and I am just sick of it!! I really need to get it done!

Sorry you're going through that hollymaid. I have gone through that many times with my pet issues. Vinegar really gets odors out, that can smell strong too for a while, but it really completely removes the odor. I don't know if there are parts you can soak. But that is the best. Also Borax in the powered form from the laundry section neutralizes smells. Both of these are cheap too!
best, artsygal

script beat me to vick's vapor rub suggestion. we use to do that at work. i forgot<didn't want to, so didn't> to empty my carpet shampooer between cleanings. Hold Nose. Unlatch. Dump out water. Scrub Furiously With Scrub Brush And Dawn Fill with Nature's Miracle and Hot Water Let Soak overnight. Dump Out and let dry in hot sun.
that got rid of the really bad stank for me. it was foul to clean and I wanted to weep. but all better now. and as gross as it was and as long as that list is. the actual work took maybe half an hour. if that.
