It's been almost exactly a month since I have played the Dice Game, so thought I would try it, again. We have lots of new people so thought this might be a good way for them to jump right on in & for us folks that have been here a while... well, it's been a long time since I've seen a game thread. I know that many are focused on the Holidays and/or leaving town... but maybe there are still some here that just need to get something done (anything!) and have fun doing it.
So, here goes:
*What you do is make a list of things that you need to do... no particular order.
*Number the list from 2 - 12 or if that is too many then 2 - 6. If you are doing 2 - 6, then repeat your list so that it numbers 2 - 12.
*Someone rolls dice and if the number rolled is a 12 then you go do the #12 item on your list, then either plug another todo item in the # 12 spot or just put something on the list a 2nd time.... in that #12 spot.
*** Then, come right back here & let us know what you did!
If you have your own dice, then you can do this on your own & just report what you rolled & what you did. You don't have to post your list here (unless you just want too). Or if you only have 1 die then just number 2 - 6 & use your one die. There is also a way to roll dice on line but I forgot the website... sorry. You can either go by what someone else rolled or roll your own dice.
I hope this was not too confusing and I hope that y'all will check in & let us know what you did. Let's see... how much can we get done & how many like playing games!!!!!!

Well, for me it is "Vacuum"....
Haven't done that in a long time and perhaps this is a blessing in disguise. Both kids have not woken up, etc. So maybe this will wake them!!! Ha!!!
Only vacuuming den (where DD is sleeping on couch!), hallway, and dining room. The other rooms will have to wait another time... well, maybe my room and back bathroom. And, only the areas that I can get to... so in my room, very little!
Here goes 'nuttin'!!!

Rough on ya' hitting vacuuming on your first roll, CD! Mr. C will be home soon and I am going to see if I can interest him in the dice game since we have to do several things together today. I hope to be back  |

Charis -- Yay! I hope that you and Mr. C will do the Dice Game.  I finally finished vacuuming my den, my bedroom (the parts I could get to), the hallway, the dining room (didn't do under the table), and my back bathroom. It took a long time due to unforseen issues such as having to cut away hair wrapped around the beater bar, something sucked up that didn't sound quite right -- so removed bag & emptied it and sifted thru it with my fingers... never figured out what it was... hoping it was not a ring or anything important then had to replace the bag & empty the kitchen trash, spray can & replace that bag due to emptying the vacuum cleaner contents into the kitchen trash -- washed scissors off that I used to cut open the vacuum cleaner bag & scrub my hands --- , also was moving the stand with the electric keyboard on it & it ended up collapsing as I was vacuuming.... hoping DS will figure out what happened to it & put it back together again.... But, 'tis done!!! The vacuuming is done!!! had been about a month for the den & hallway & several for the dining room & my bedroom & back bathroom. Will roll the dice but I have to get dressed in better clothes & take her to friend's house. I won't be back for at least an hour... I hope some other folks jump in here & start playing cause it is a great way to get things done. I rolled a "6". Will "shower2shoes" when I get back. happy to have rolled that number, but could have put it off, as well.... CD |

sorry i can't play. i love vacuuming.......  i'm at work making a year's worth of maintenance cheques for a rental condo. huge concentration needed:  wish it were a game  at least the pooch is here, snoozing and snoring on his perch luv to all my brother brought me leftover lasagne and CAKE for lunch   furthermore when my brother-in-law was here, we had sedate choral music (palestrina)---you tube quicklists now have moved on to the hard stuff Doors, CCR, Rodney Crowell (cute), Waylon Jennings if things continue, i will find some AC/DC (great after lunch when i am sleepy) |

Wish you could play, too. Oh well, I know you are working hard and enjoying some awesome music! And, with cute pooch perched nearby... well, you doin' good!!! Quite a range on that music, eh?  Well, sorry y'all. I knew I'd be at least an hour taking DD to friend's house, but was much, much longer. Forgot I had 2 errands that I had to run, too. So, went to bank & cleaners. Let's see... I rolled a "6" before and on my list the #6 is "Shower2shoes". So, that will take a long time for me... will be another hour ---hopefully less this time... I will roll, again, in case anyone else wants to join in & doesn't have a die or dice. Here goes: "10" Come on all you newbies & oldies that are hesitant to do something. Let's play!!! CD |

Oh, Cando, you gave me a smile as I imagined the keyboard collapsing as it got bumped  prezzana--sounds like you have good working music anyway Rolled but didn't post I rounded up dishes from daughter's room I walked the dogs with Mr. C Now Iam heading out to wash dogs, but this time it isn't because of dice it is b/c DH is ready to help I will be back in about 20 mins. sopping wet and smelling doggy |

Dogs done. The aroma of wet dog......... Heading off to the gym. I would really like to do the dice game after xmas Cando--we are having guests for New Year's who are arriving on eitherthe 29th or 30th and I will be hampered by the fact that Mr. C and I are taking over our son's paper route for a week (starting this evening) as a xmas present to him. It takes DH and I an hour longer to do the route together than it takes DS alone, because we have nothing memorized and do not run up and down apartment stairs either. good luck with the game--I am checking in on you later because I know when you get rolling you sometimes work in the evenings too |

Charis -- Great job roundin' up them dishes! Also, way to go on walking & washing doggies!!! 
Yay, you for going to gym. You are showing us all how to get it done! Woo Hoo!!! 
I finally made it into the shower... yeah, I know. Facebook is evil!!!
So I'm happy that showering was the next thing that I had rolled (remember the "6")... because I feel soo good now!!!
I still have to blow dry my hair, yet.
I have also taken another med, drank another glass of water, swiped back bathroom toiliet, picked up towels that person before me left on floor in my bathroom, used my fingers to rake up some hair that was on the carpet in my back bathroom, got the ant that was crawling on the edge of the bathtub, 1 swipe of bathtub ledge, 1 swipe of floor next to bathtub, picked up the hair from bathtub drain.
Also, called 2 people or companies that remove trees. I have a big one & a small one that need removing. Left messages for both... That is something I had been procrastinating on.
Going to blow-dry hair & then will see what the #10 is on my list, since that was what I last rolled.
Whee! having fun!!! I love the Dice Game!

Oh, Charis... it really was quite funny when the stand with the keyboard collapsed. My DD couldn't believe it when she came in the room and saw this all over the floor. She said she heard me call for help but had just gotten out of the shower & was drying off. DS set it back up for me & repaired the stand while I took DD to friend's house. Also, wanted to tell y'all my carpet feels so nice & soft now. I have been walking in just my socks since my shower. . . or is it just my imagination? I challenge y'all to vacuum your carpet even if it is just 1 square foot & let me know if it is softer afterwards...CD |

Finally, finally, finally... finished that roll from waay earlier. Showered2shoes!!! at last!!! Next was a "10" that I rolled. That is "clear dining room table & wash it off". This table is at maintenance stage... already been totally decluttered from a time when it had stacks 2 feet tall... maybe higher. So, hopefully this will be a little faster than vacuuming and showering2shoes was...  CD |

Okay, cleared dining room table & washed it off. Only 1 problem item... a dreidel filled with bubble stuff... a necklace type thing with tiny wand in it. I bought it a couple weeks ago thinking it would be fun to do that with the dogs, but we never did it. I just tried it and Puppy wasn't too excited by it. 1 even landed on her nose. May try it again... but where the heck do I put that item?  Moved it to sink counter & if we don't play with it in the next week... then I am tossing it! I'm going to roll, again, but DD just called and I have to pick her up & then meet DH. So, hopefully back in a few hours, if not... I intend to come back tomorrow. I sure hope that others will join in.... Here goes the roll.......... "7". That will be "dishes"...whenever I get back home! CD |

Way to go extending shower to swiping as well--doing it as we go, woot! I have served dinner (just defrosting stuff plus salad, basically  fed doggies, put stuff in dryer, and showered. Now to get to bed by 10. Good luck on the dishes, Cando |

I think I will try this! I'll pick up a set of dice at the Dollar Store tomorrow. I took tomorrow off work to make cookies, etc., in preparation for the holiday so should be able to try it out. I've got the kitchen cleared in preparation for baking!

Hi SpiritWalk. Welcome to the website. I hope you like this game. I got my dice (a whole package of them) for $1.00 from Dollar Tree. There is an on-line dice but forgot the website (free) and don't have to download or anything. SpiritWalk, you can also use the numbers that others roll, too. Sometimes just shouting out in a forum or in chat for a number is kinda fun...  Charis-- Great job feeding humans & dogs, doing laundry & showering.... Yep, even our basics count here, right?! Of course, laundry -- that is the extra!!!!  We (DH, DD, DS & his girlfriend, and I) went out to eat tonight using a couple giftcards -- went to Olive Garden. Then, came home & DH said he needed to go to bed early so at by 9:15pm he was snoring. I laid down to just rest for a few minutes and slept until midnight. Of course, then and now... I have tons of energy!!!!  So, I did do those dishes from that previous roll of "7". I washed all dishes, put away hand-washed stuff from drainboard, and unloaded dishwasher. Also, put 4 bottles in recycle bag.  I am through playing Dice Game for the night, but hope to continue tomorrow. I rolled an "8" for the next item on my list.... which is "go thru yesterday's mail & deal with it". It is in a bag by my chair in the den where I sit at computer. Only now, I will have "today's mail" to add to that... it is in my van at the moment. I did do some laundry... it is on my list a couple times, but I didn't roll the right number. I have to do some of it, though as I will be out of clothes if I don't.     Will try to go back to sleep as I do need to get up kinda early... Hmmmmmmmmmmm. CD |
