Angel wanted to wish everyone here and their fur family members a Merry Christmas by sharing her picture with Santa, taken in 2006. She was the only cat getting her picture taken that day, and as you can tell, Santa didn't look too thrilled about having a cat in his lap, even though I reassured him she was declawed and wouldn't bite or hurt him. After the picture was snapped, she snuggled into Santa's beard and at first he thought she was attacking him! Then he realized she was only snuggling and he petted her and told her she was a good girl and would get a lot of treats for Christmas (which she did!). But his facial expression in the pic: "I wish I was somewhere else!" Priceless!
Enjoy!

Cats are the only ones allowed to see Santa when he is filling the stockings--dogs would bark and people would talk, so they have to be asleep in order for Santa's magic to work.
Perhaps in the picture Angel is thinking "Sir, I see Santa every year, yet I do not seem to recognize you. However, one must be kind, even to a stand-in Santa."
